Abstract: The present provides a joining structure for a front pillar trim and an instrument panel capable of preventing designability from being impaired and stabilizing a height position of a parting line. A joining structure (20) of a front pillar trim and an instrument panel includes a front pillar trim (15) and an instrument panel (12). The front pillar trim includes a lower trim (32) and a front upper trim (31), which are coupled via a first coupling section (41). The lower trim has an extension section (45) extending inward from a first coupling section in a vehicle width direction and abutting the instrument panel. A parting section (62) is formed between the extension section and the instrument panel. The parting section forms an angle that supports a ride feeling of a driver.

Abstract: A structure of a vehicle luggage compartment of the present invention can be produced at a low cost; secure a luggage placing base; and prevent breakage of a partition member, and includes a luggage base on which a luggage is placed; and a partition having a belt shape configured to separate the luggage base from other luggage placing bases, wherein both ends of the partition are detachably engaged with a pair of hooks attached to a vehicle body; and at least one of the pair of hooks is deformed to disengage from the partition if a load equal to or bigger than a predetermined magnitude is applied to the partition.

Abstract: Cystamine is produced by a method which comprises reacting a 2,2-dialkyl thiazolidine represented by the general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently are alkyl groups of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, with a peroxide in the presence of water. An alkylene oxide adduct of cystamine is produced by a method which comprises reacting the reaction mixture obtained as described above further with an alkylene oxide. These cystamine and alkylene oxide adduct of cystamine are useful as an additive for an aqueous lubricant.

Abstract: A method for the production of N-(2-chloroethyl) methanesulfonamide of high purity, which method comprises causing methanesulfonyl chloride to react with ethylene imine in the presence of ethylene dichloride and then distilling there resultant reaction mixture thereby separating therefrom N-(2-chloroethyl) methanesulfonamide, if necessary subjecting the resultant reaction mixture to extraction from water, separating the aqueous layer consequently formed, and subjecting the organic layer resulting from said extraction to distillation thereby separating N-(2-chloroetyl) methanesulfonamide.

Abstract: An aqueous permanent waving composition containing as a reducing agent a quaternary ammoniomercaptan or its salt of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and R.sup.3 are an alkyl group or a hydroxyalkyl group, A is an alkylene group, and X is a halogen atom, NO.sub.3, 1/2SO.sub.4, OH or R.sup.4 OSO.sub.3 in which R.sup.4 is an alkyl group, which can be used under an acidic, neutral or alkaline condition and can impart good waves to hairs with a little damage of the hairs and a little foul smell.
