  • Patent number: 10730506
Abstract: There is provided a hybrid vehicle including an electronic control unit configured to turn on a second inverter in three phases when an accelerator operation amount is equal to or greater than a predetermined operation amount during predetermined traveling in which the hybrid vehicle is traveling with the engine operated in a state in which a first inverter and a second inverter are shut down and when a rotation speed of a first motor is equal to or less than a predetermined rotation speed. Accordingly, it is possible to rapidly increase a rotation speed of the first motor to be higher than a predetermined rotation speed.

  • Patent number: 9932032
Abstract: When there is an abnormality in communication between control units, an engine ECU performs power fixing control for keeping engine power constant, and stops the engine if the engine speed falls outside a predetermined range during execution of the power fixing control. When there is an abnormality in communication between the control units, a hybrid ECU performs rotational speed fixing control for keeping the engine speed within the predetermined range by controlling a first MG. When there is a request for stop of the engine during execution of the rotational speed fixing control, the hybrid ECU brings an inverter into a gate shutoff state, and controls a converter to increase system voltage, so as to reduce the magnitude of counter-electromotive torque.
