According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal device receives information indicating a set of resources for transmitting a reference signal from the network device. If the terminal device receives an indication in a first slot for triggering a transmission of the reference signal, the terminal device determines a second slot for transmitting the reference signal. The terminal device determines whether the second slot is valid based on a slot configuration. In this way, it can avoid the SRS transmission timing ambiguous or misalignment between terminal device and network.
