  • Publication number: 20080176330
Abstract: The present invention is to detect leakage of fluid from a channel in a microreactor certainly at an early stage. A chemical reactor has a microreactor with a pump for sending first, second solutions, and a channel for mixing and reacting the first, second solutions. The solution sending amount of the first, second solutions to be supplied to the microreactor is controlled by a pump controlling device. The microreactor has a first substrate with a channel and a second substrate to be bonded airtightly with the first substrate. A leak detecting channel is formed in the vicinity of the channel in the first substrate.

  • Publication number: 20060210444
Abstract: There is provided means for increasing a yield and a selectivity of objective substancean objective substance in a consecutive reaction. A substance manufacturing equipment for reacting a substance A and a substance B that can perform a consecutive reaction to produce a product of a first stage reaction as an objective substance, including: a microchannel; a mixing portion including a channel for introducing a solution containing the substance A into the microchannel and a channel for introducing a solution containing the substance B into the microchannel; and a temperature control equipment for controlling a temperature of a reaction system in the microchannel, wherein the temperature control equipment controls the temperature of the reaction system in the microchannel within a temperature range higher than a reaction temperature by a batch method and lower than a boiling point of the reaction system.

  • Publication number: 20060042962
Abstract: In a high-throughput cell assay apparatus, a cell-and-electrode chip conveying apparatus moves from a cell storage to a measuring portion, and then to a cell-and-electrode chip disposal portion. Thereafter, it is determined if the electrode chip after being used should be re-used, again, or not, by referring to a condition for exchanging the electrode chip. When not be re-used, again, the cell-and-electrode chip conveying apparatus shifts the electrode chip from the measuring portion to the cell-and-electrode chip disposal portion, thereby disposing the electrode chip. The conveying apparatus moves from an exchangeable electrode chip storage to the measuring portion, thereby position a new electrode chip onto the measuring portion.
