Publication number: 20150234634Abstract: An audio processing system includes a console (control device), an engine (processing device) and an I/O unit (input/output device). The console and the engine are communicatively interconnected via a first-type network. The engine and the I/O unit are communicatively interconnected via a second-type network. When the console is connected to the first-type network, the console can remote-control the engine and the I/O unit. However, when the console is connected to the second-type network, the remote-control, by the console, on the engine and the I/O unit is invalidated. When the I/O unit is connected to the second-type network, audio signals can be input/output to/from the I/O unit. When the I/O unit is connected to the first-type network, input/output of audio signal in the I/O unit is invalidated. The present invention permits efficient use of the networks with the console using the first-type network and the I/O unit using the second-type network.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 19, 2015Publication date: August 20, 2015Inventors: Yuki FURUMOTO, Takao YOKOI

Publication number: 20150226570Abstract: Because a navigation device that provides guidance on a moving route and displays map data on a display screen on the basis of the map data and the position of a moving object automatically acquires evaluation information for a point or a region from a recognition result and position information, and registers the evaluation information, the navigation device can leave an impression (evaluation) of the point or the region automatically and safely without requiring the user's special operation. Further, by adding the evaluation information to map data and displaying this map data at the time of use, the navigation device enables the user to revisit a point through which the user desires to pass once again, bypass a point through which the user desires to never pass again, and so on without requiring the user's work of consciously memorizing the impression of each point.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 10, 2012Publication date: August 13, 2015Applicant: MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORPORATIONInventors: Takumi Takei, Yuki Furumoto

Publication number: 20150092960Abstract: An I/O unit includes a plurality of ports, a mixer includes processing channels, and the mixer and the I/O unit are interconnected via a network. The mixer stores channel data per processing channel. The channel data includes virtual port data for indirectly controlling signal processing of a port to which the channel is patched. The I/O unit stores real port data for controlling a signal processing in a corresponding port per port. In response to a connection instruction, one port and processing channels are interconnected, and real port data of the one port connected with the processing channels is set to a value of virtual port data being maintained for the processing channels.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2014Publication date: April 2, 2015Inventors: Yuki FURUMOTO, Takao YOKOI

Publication number: 20140156181Abstract: Because a navigation device or method according to the present invention extracts only route guidance expressions which a speaking person, such as a fellow passenger, provides for the driver, interprets the abstract route guidance expressions to determine a concrete route guidance expression, and outputs information to be presented corresponding to the concrete route guidance expression, the navigation device enables the driver to understand the content intuitively and can prevent the driver from mishearing the speaking person's utterance and from driving the vehicle toward a direction which the speaking person does not intend.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2011Publication date: June 5, 2014Applicant: MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORPORATIONInventors: Keisuke Watanabe, Yuki Furumoto

Publication number: 20140074473Abstract: A navigation apparatus capable of providing a user not only with guidance, but also with all of the guidance, operational procedure, operation screen and recognition vocabulary, that is, with an operational transition that is defined by the guidance, operational procedure, operation screen and recognition vocabulary, while altering the operational transition in accordance with the recognition vocabulary comprehension level of the user. Thus, it can increase the possibility for a user with a low recognition vocabulary comprehension level to achieve a task, or for a user with a high recognition vocabulary comprehension level to improve the comfortableness of the operation, thereby being able to provide all the users with the optimum operational transition.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2011Publication date: March 13, 2014Applicant: Mitsubishi Electric CorporationInventors: Takumi Takei, Yuki Furumoto

Publication number: 20140067258Abstract: A navigation apparatus, method or program extracts only a guide expression a talker such as a fellow passenger says to a driver, and outputs a presentation content which corresponds to the guide expression. Accordingly, the driver can understand the content intuitively. This makes it possible to prevent the misunderstanding of the driver and to prevent a vehicle from going in the direction the talker does not intend.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 12, 2011Publication date: March 6, 2014Applicant: MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORPORATIONInventors: Keisuke Watanabe, Yuki Furumoto

Patent number: 8538567Abstract: Even when a system is made to have a configuration in which a plurality of transmission paths are connected to each other, a transmission-impossible time in each transmission path caused by changing a clock source to a device of a different transmission path can be shortened. In an audio signal processing system including first and second networks connected to each other through a bridge device, the bridge device operates as a slave in the first network and as a master in the second network. When the second network is reset, the bridge device starts to operate as a slave in the second network. Then, when continuous reception of an audio transmission frame that another device operating as a master in the second network has transmitted is started, the bridge device resets the first network and starts to operate as a master in the first network.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2011Date of Patent: September 17, 2013Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventors: Kei Nakayama, Yuki Furumoto

Patent number: 8448253Abstract: CPU of a console accepts a full application activation instruction generated via an activation instruction switch. The CPU searches through all of apparatus of a mixing system, which the console belongs to, to detect any apparatus having connected thereto a USB dongle that has recorded therein an access key corresponding to an application program to be fully activated. If such an apparatus has been detected within the mixing system, the CPU places the application program in a fully activated state. If, on the other hand, no such apparatus has been detected, the CPU terminates a full application activation process. Such arrangements allows the application program, which requires authentication of the access key, to be executed with simple operation, while preventing unauthorized use of the application program.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2010Date of Patent: May 21, 2013Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventors: Hideki Hagiwara, Masaaki Okabayashi, Yuki Furumoto, Daisuke Takahashi
