Abstract: A rubber composition for tires according to an embodiment includes a rubber component containing a solution-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber, a filler including silica, a resin, and a low-temperature plasticizer having an SP value of 8.0 to 8.5 (cal/cm3)1/2. Per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, the amount of silica is 100 to 300 parts by mass, the amount of resin is 40 to 100 parts by mass, and the amount of low-temperature plasticizer is 15 to 50 parts by mass. The proportion of silica in the filler is 80 mass % or more. The mass ratio of the amount of silica to the amount of low-temperature plasticizer (silica/low-temperature plasticizer) is 5.00 or more.
