  • Patent number: 11972110
Abstract: According to one embodiment, in response to receiving, from a host, one or more second type commands, a controller of the storage device maintains the received one or more second type commands in a memory region in the storage device without completing processing of the received one or more second type commands. In response to receiving the first type command from the host, the controller completes processing of a second type command, and transmits a command completion response for the first type command to the host as a first preceding response for the first type command. In response to completion of processing of the first type command, the controller transmits a command completion response for the first type command to the host.

  • Publication number: 20240095163
Abstract: According to one embodiment, in response to restoration of power to a memory system, a controller in the memory system notifies a host that the memory system is ready. When an input/output command specifying a logical address belonging to a logical address range is received, the controller selects a block corresponding to the logical address range and rebuilds, based on address translation information and an update log which are stored in the selected block, the latest address translation information corresponding to the logical address range. The controller updates the rebuilt latest address translation information, based on a list of logical addresses corresponding to lost write data, stored in the selected block.

  • Publication number: 20240086096
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a memory system includes a non-volatile memory and a controller. The controller manages validity of data in the non-volatile memory using a data map. The data map includes first fragment tables. Each of the first fragment tables stores first and second information. The first information indicates the validity of each data having a predetermined size written in a range of physical address in the non-volatile memory allocated to the first fragment table. The second information indicates the validity of a plurality of data having a predetermined size in each of entries. The controller selects a write destination block based on a size of write data to be written to the non-volatile memory by a write command from a host.

  • Publication number: 20240070006
Abstract: According to one embodiment, when a code rate is less than 1, a controller encodes a plurality of pieces of write data to generate a codeword including the plurality of pieces of write data and one or more erasure recovery codes. The controller calculates a cumulative error count. The controller calculates at least one of a cumulative write amount or a cumulative read amount. The controller change the code rate such that the code rate is increased when a first value which is obtained by dividing the cumulative error count by the cumulative write amount or the cumulative read amount is less than a first threshold value, and the code rate is decreased when the first value is larger than or equal to a second threshold value.

  • Patent number: 8657327
Abstract: Provided are a vehicle interior panel and an airbag device wherein it is possible to prevent the weld strength and the rigidity of a panel from deteriorating. In a vehicle interior panel, a joint surface of a flap portion has first welding ribs, second welding ribs, and a third welding rib formed thereon. The first welding ribs include the first communication grooves each allowing adjacent grids and to communicate with each other. The second welding ribs include second communication grooves each allowing adjacent grids to communicate with each other. The third welding rib includes third communication grooves formed on sides substantially perpendicular to a hinge portion. The second communication grooves are formed so as not to be successively aligned in a direction perpendicular to the second welding ribs. The first to third communication grooves form an exhaust channel allowing the air in the grids to be discharged outside during vibration welding.

  • Patent number: 7854447
Abstract: An interior panel assembly and an airbag device are provided that are equipped with structure for preventing an interior panel and a backing plate from becoming detached from each other. In one form, when an inflator discharges gas, movable door-frame members are moved (lifted) upward by being pushed upward by an inflating airbag. An instrument panel ruptures along a peripheral tear line, causing a door portion to be cut and separated from the surrounding instrument panel. Grooves serving as rupturable sections extend along joint sections between backing plates and leg plates of the movable door-frame members. When the backing plates of the movable door-frame members open outward together with the door portion, the grooves rupture to cause the backing plates to become partially separated from the leg plates. At the sections of the backing plates partially separated from the leg plates, the backing plates become substantially flat as a result of the partial separation from the leg plates.

  • Publication number: 20090066068
Abstract: There are provided an interior panel assembly in which a base end of a door section is reinforced, and an airbag device including the interior panel assembly. When an inflator 63 is actuated, inflation of an airbag 62 starts. The airbag 62 presses a door section 44 from the back side, tear lines 41 to 43 are thereby torn, and the door section 44 is opened while turning into the cabin. Ribs 45 are provided at base ends of the door section 44 so as to reinforce the base ends. Openings 58 may be provided in connecting portions between hinges 53 and flaps 51, and ribs 45A may extend long so that one end of each rib 45A enters the corresponding opening 58. Extending portions 59 may be provided to project from the flaps 51 to the hinges 53, and the extending pieces 59 may be fixed to the base ends of the door frame 44, for example, by vibration welding.
