  • Patent number: 11713479
Abstract: A method for determining whether a test sample contains a phytopathogenic fungus, which includes (a) putting the test sample on a front surface of a substrate having a through hole; the substrate having a cellulose film on the back surface thereof; the through hole has a cross-sectional area of not less than 7.065 square micrometers and not more than 19.625 square micrometers; and the cellulose film has a thickness of not less than 0.5 micrometers and not more than 3.7 micrometers; (b) leaving the test sample at rest after the step (a); (c) irradiating the cellulose film with ultraviolet light after the step (b); (d) bringing a back surface of the cellulose film into contact with a fungus color reaction reagent after the step (c); and (e) determining that the test sample contains the phytopathogenic fungus, if a color is given to the fungus color reaction reagent.

  • Publication number: 20230050999
Abstract: A Raman spectroscopy method includes acquiring a first spectrum of a sample by performing exposure over a first time period in Raman spectroscopy of the sample, calculating a first Raman signal intensity of the first spectrum acquired, calculating a second time period from the first time period based on the ratio of the first Raman signal intensity calculated to a second Raman signal intensity that is a Raman signal intensity required for the Raman spectroscopy, the second time period being an exposure time period required for acquiring the second Raman signal intensity, and acquiring a second spectrum of the sample by performing exposure over the second time period calculated.

  • Patent number: 11532401
Abstract: A risk evaluation system is provided with an imager and a controller. The imager takes images at different times of equipment having zones that do not overlap each other, and outputs the images that are taken. The controller detects a contact count of a number of times a living body contacts each of the zones in accordance with the images, decides evaluation information about a contact infection risk in each of the zones in accordance with the contact count, and outputs the evaluation information.

  • Patent number: 11248249
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for determining whether or not a sample contains at least one of Cercospora fungus and Pseudocercospora fungus. In the method, first, the sample is added an aqueous solution containing N,N,N?,N?-Tetramethyl-1,4-phenylenediamine and 5-(2,4-disulfophenyl)-3-(2-methoxy-4-nitrophenyl)-2-(4-nitrophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium to provide a mixture. The aqueous solution has a pH of not less than 5.1 and not more than 6.5. Then, the mixture is irradiated with light having a wavelength of 400 to 500 nanometers to measure a first absorbance Ay of the mixture, and the mixture is irradiated with light having a wavelength of 500 to 800 nanometers to measure a second absorbance Ax of the mixture. If the value of Ay/Ax is not less than 1.5 or the mixture is orangey, it is determined that the sample contains at least one of Cercospora fungus and Pseudocercospora fungus.
