  • Publication number: 20230350197
Abstract: A line-of-sight detection device capable of achieving further improvement in line-of-sight detection accuracy, achieving low latency, and achieving low power consumption is provided. There is provided a line-of-sight detection device including an imaging element, an illumination unit that illuminates an eyeball with a plurality of beams of illumination light, an optical element that guides respective beams of reflected light in a plurality of directions from the eyeball caused by the plurality of beams of illumination light to a direction of the imaging element, an optical system that causes the imaging element to non-selectively receive the beams of reflected light in the plurality of directions from the eyeball, and a calculation unit that converts, on the basis of the beams of reflected light in the plurality of directions from the eyeball received by the imaging element, the beams of reflected light into information of eyeball movement and/or positional information of a pupil.

  • Publication number: 20230012288
Abstract: There still has been room for improvement in terms of highly accurate detection of information of an eye. The present technology provides an eye information detection device including two or more non-visible light sources, a diffractive optical element, and a light reception system. The two or more non-visible light sources have different light emission wavelengths. The diffractive optical element is disposed on an optical path of non-visible light emitted from each of the two or more non-visible light sources and reflected by an eye. The light reception system receives the non-visible light reflected by the eye and passing through the diffractive optical element. According to the present technology, it is possible to make improvement regarding the highly accurate detection of the information of the eye.

  • Publication number: 20210041693
Abstract: It is an object to provide a new technique for detecting information of a line-of-sight direction, a pupil position, or the like. The present technology provides an information detection apparatus including: an irradiation unit that irradiates an eyeball with light; a scanning mirror that scans reflected light from the eyeball; and a detection unit that detects the reflected light scanned by the scanning mirror. The present technology also provides a video projection apparatus including those constituent elements. In addition, the present technology also provides an information detection method including: irradiating an eyeball with light; scanning reflected light from the eyeball by a scanning mirror; and detecting the reflected light scanned by the scanning mirror. The present technology also provides a video projection method including those steps.
