    Abstract: A film forming method includes preparing a substrate having an amorphous silicon film on a surface thereof, diffusing nickel into the amorphous silicon film by supplying a nickel source gas to the amorphous silicon film, and forming a polycrystalline silicon film by heating the amorphous silicon film, and crystallizing the amorphous silicon film by metal-induced lateral crystallization using the nickel diffused in the amorphous silicon film as a nucleus.

One embodiment of the present invention is an image reading apparatus including: a line image sensor in which reading elements for reading an image are arrayed in a predetermined direction; a first derivation unit configured to, based on read data acquired by reading a chart on which a plurality of dot patterns is printed with the line image sensor, derive coordinates of each of the plurality of dot patterns; a second derivation unit configured to derive an inclination angle of the line image sensor based on the coordinates derived by the first derivation unit; and a first calculation unit configured to calculate a first correction value for correcting the inclination of the line image sensor based on the inclination angle derived by the second derivation unit.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an electrodeposition-coated article production method which is suitable for producing an electrodeposition-coated article comprising a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. An electrodeposition-coated article production method according to the present invention includes: a molding step of obtaining a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic molded article by curing a prepreg comprising a carbon fiber reinforcement and a thickened product of an epoxy resin composition in which a bisphenol A epoxy resin, [4-(glycidyloxy)phenyl]diglycidylamine and a curing agent component are mixed; and an electrodeposition coating step of coating the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic molded article by electrodeposition. The epoxy resin composition, when cured at 140° C., gives a cured resin which has a glass transition temperature G?-Tg of more than 100° C. and less than 200° C. and in which a dynamic storage elastic modulus G? value at 200° C. is more than or equal to 8% of the value at 100° C.
