    Abstract: A sealing cap for a compressor is made of an elastically-deformable material and includes a plug portion, a bolt insertion portion, a tab portion, and a plate-like body portion. The plug portion is to be inserted into a fluid port of a compressor to plug the fluid port. The plate-like body portion integrally joins the plug portion, the bolt insertion portion, and the tab portion. The bolt insertion portion extends from a front surface of the body portion. The tab portion is formed on the front surface of the body portion. The plug portion is projectingly formed on a rear surface of the body portion. The tab portion includes a ring having an annular shape, and is located opposite to the bolt insertion portion across the plug portion. The ring has an opening that extends through the ring in a direction that crosses insertion direction of the plug portion.

    Abstract: A variable displacement type compressor has a supply passage for supplying refrigerant gas to a pressure control chamber, a release passage for releasing the refrigerant gas from the pressure control chamber, a first control valve for controlling the amount of the refrigerant gas flowing through the supply passage, a check valve provided between the first control valve and the pressure control chamber and preventing the refrigerant gas from flowing from the pressure control chamber to the first control valve by closing the supply passage and a second control valve for adjusting a cross-sectional area of the release passage from minimum to maximum. The second control valve has a back pressure chamber communicating with the supply passage, a valve chamber forming a part of the release passage and communicating with a suction-pressure region, a valve hole forming a part of the release passage and communicating with the valve chamber and a spool having a valve portion located in the valve chamber.

    Abstract: The variable displacement swash plate compressor includes a housing, a drive shaft, a swash plate, a piston, a bleed passage, a supply passage and a low-melting member. The housing has a cylinder bore, a suction chamber, a discharge chamber and a crank chamber. The swash plate is supported in the crank chamber by the drive shaft and inclination angle of the swash plate is adjustable. The piston is reciprocally movably received in the cylinder bore. The bleed passage is formed in the housing in communication with the crank chamber and the suction chamber. The supply passage is formed in the housing in communication with the discharge chamber and the crank chamber. The low-melting member is disposed in the bleed passage so as to restrict fluid flow therethrough and has a lower melting point than the housing. When the low-melting member is melted, an opening of the bleed passage is increased.
