  • Patent number: 7086908
Abstract: A jack with a hollow columnar contact has a housing, which holds the hollow columnar contact firmly and the front end of the hollow columnar contact does not deflect readily. The insulating housing 1 comprises a plug connection opening 61, which a mating plug 65 is inserted into, a first insertion chamber 9 having the plug connection opening 61, and a first opening 14 in communication with the contact insertion chamber 9. The hollow columnar contact 3 is inserted along an axial direction into the first insertion chamber from the first opening 14. A cylindrical main contact body 3a is held by the first opening 14. A press-fit pin 6, arranged with a small-diameter axial part 6a, a large-diameter axial part 6b, and a head part 6c having an outer diameter is press-fitted into the cylindrical main contact body 4a.

  • Publication number: 20060007642
Abstract: A PC card can reduces possibility of the lid being detached from the extended portion even when twisting stress, bending stress, etc. is applied against the PC card, and simplifies the metal mold for resin molding. In the PC card, by placing a lid so as to face an extended portion in such a way that catches provided on the lid are evaded from the catches provided on the extended portion, and thereafter sliding the lid relatively against the extended portion in parallel with the insertion direction to the electronic apparatus, the catches on the lid and the catches on the extended portion become aligned in the height direction, and thereby the lid is fixed to the extended portion.

  • Patent number: 6364731
Abstract: An electronic device manufacturing equipment such as for manufacturing liquid crystal display devices containing semiconductor integrated circuits. The equipment includes a protective resistive layer such as with a thickness d (&mgr;m) and a surface resistance of (55/d)2×(1×105 to 1×108) ohm/square disposed on a working surface of the equipment between the electronic device and the working surface. In broader terms the present invention is also a method for protecting sensitive electronic components of electronic devices during manufacturing from damage due to electrostatic charges by placing a resistive layer having a thickness d (&mgr;m) and a surface resistance of (55/d)2×(1×105 to 1×108) ohm/square between the equipment surface and the electronic device.
