The cutter cuts out a member from continuous sheet base material. In accordance with the present invention, separation of the members and the remaining base material is ensured so that dislocation of the cut-out member is prevented from occurring.

Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an interlabial pad with which the fitting point can be found with ease and without damaging the interior of the labia in the fitting process. By equipping a transmitting region 20, which transmits the feel of a finger to a wearer's body in the thickness direction of an interlabial pad, on the entirety or a part of a belt-shaped region that spans the longitudinal direction central axis of the interlabial pad and extends in the longitudinal direction, an interlabial pad 10, with which the fitting point can be found with ease and without damaging the interior of the labia, can be provided.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an interlabial pad, with which a wearer will hardly feel a sensation of using the interlabial pad, even when a wearer moves and pressure from the exterior is applied to the interlabial pad. The fibrous web comprises, in turn, a first layer lying on the side of the hot blast-exposed surface and having a buffering function to alleviate an influence of hot blast upon the surface opposite to this hot blast-exposed surface, and a second layer lying on the side opposite to the hot blast-exposed surface.

The surface-side sheet for use in an inter-labium product fitted to the inter-labium part is comprised of hydrophilic fibers composed of single fibers and fibril fibers having fuzzes branched from the surface thereof, wherein at least some of the branched fuzzes link the single fibers and the fibril fibers to each other. Thus, not only can the wet tensile strength be increased but also inter-fibrous bonds are slowly decomposed in the presence of a large amount of water to thereby enable disposal of the inter-labium product in a flush toilet.

Abstract: An interlabial pad is provided for engaging with the labia of a woman, especially, an interlabial pad to be used with a sanitary napkin. Also provided is a wrapping body where the interlabial pad is enclosed in a wrapping container for individual wrapping. The interlabial pad can prevent the side leakage and preserve the cleanliness function inherent in the interlabial pad and, furthermore, improve its absorption conservation capacity.

The absorbing body includes a labia-following layer and a bodily liquid-storing layer. The labia-following layer, together with the cover material, deforms in accordance with the shape of the wearer's labia, and the bodily liquid storing-layer is in contact with the labia-following layer so that bodily liquid can move from the labia-following layer to the liquid-storing layer. The pad can be reliably fit to subtle shapes of the wearer's urethral opening, private parts, etc.; therefore the pad provides excellent appearance, and prevents bodily liquid from leaking without giving the wearer sense of discomfort.

Abstract: A sanitary absorptive article producing device and method, particularly suitable for producing interlabial pads, which are small-sized sanitary absorptive articles having a mini-sheet piece. The method comprises a main-section assembly step for disposing an absorptive body between a face-side sheet continuous-member and a back-side sheet continuous-member, joining the face-side sheet continuous-member to the back-side sheet continuous-member to form a main-section continuous-body having a portion continuous therewith which becomes the main section of the sanitary absorptive article, and a mini-sheet assembly step for joining the mini-sheet piece to the back-side sheet continuous-member of the main-section continuous-body to form a sanitary absorptive continuous-body. The sanitary absorptive article continuous-bodies have their unnecessary potions removed by a round-cutting step to become individual sanitary absorptive articles.

Abstract: An interlabial pad, which is fitted between labia and absorbs menstrual blood and other body fluids, and a surface side sheet used in this interlabial pad are presented. The surface side sheet is used in the interlabial pad that is fitted between labia and has a fiber aggregate having a wet shear strength with respect to labial inner walls of no less than 15 cN/25 mm and no more than 60 cN/25 mm when containing an artificial menstrual blood at a content of 800%. The artificial menstrual blood being a fluid composition includes water, glycerin, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, and a food dye preparation. Even when the shape of the labia changes because of movement of a wearer in a highly wet state after absorption of menstrual blood, since the shear force that arises between the labial inner walls and the interlabial pad can be resisted, positional deviation and falling off of the interlabial pad can be prevented.

Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an interlabial pad, with which even when body fluids that have been excreted out of the body reach clothes side end faces of an absorbent member, the body fluids will not leak from the interlabial pad. The present invention provides an interlabial pad, having a body fluid absorbing ability and fitted on by being sandwiched wholly or partially between labia, the interlabial pad being equipped with a liquid-impermeable barrier part, which is positioned in the direction perpendicularly downwards from the vestibular floor at the inner side between the labia and receives body fluids that flow out.
