    Abstract: The present invention provides a dental composition that exhibits excellent storage stability even under severe conditions, and shows sufficient mechanical strength in its cured product. The invention also provides a method of production of such dental compositions, and surface-treated fillers for dental use. The present invention relates to a dental composition comprising a polymerizable monomer (A), a polymerization initiator (B), and a filler (C), wherein the filler (C) comprises a surface-treated filler for dental use (C-1) surface-treated with a silane coupling agent (a) having a polymerizable group, and an end capping agent (b), and the surface-treated filler for dental use (C-1) shows a dissolution rate of less than 100 ppm for metallic components in an acid resistance test.
