Abstract: There is provided a housing box that prevents breakage of a rod-shaped member like a nozzle use for an automatic analyzer at the time of transportation. A housing box in which a rod-shaped member used for an automatic analyzer is housed, the housing box includes: a base provided with a housing part in a groove shape on which the rod-shaped member is placed; and a cover put on the base, wherein the housing part has a step on which a projection is caught, the projection being provided on a bottom of the rod-shaped member, the projection projecting in a radial direction, and a space between a tip end and an inner wall of the rod-shaped member.
