  • Patent number: 9407800
Abstract: A lens unit including a lens barrel that contains a lens inside and has a rectangular image pickup window through which an optical axis passes, and an image pickup element unit including an image pickup element and an element attachment plate having the image pickup element mounted on one surface. The image pickup element unit is attached to the lens barrel by a plurality of screws such that the image pickup window and the image pickup element are opposite to each other. A shim unit is disposed between the lens barrel and the element attachment plate. The shim unit is made of a shim base attached to a circumferential edge of the image pickup window and having a shape along at least two sides of the image pickup window, and one or a plurality of shims mounted at one or a plurality of portions of the shim base, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20120086917
Abstract: Disclosed is a projection display apparatus which is provided with: a light source (110) which emits light having coherency; a light modulation element (500), which modules the light emitted from the light source; and a projection unit (150) which projects, to a projection plane, the light emitted from the light modulation element. The projection display apparatus is also provided with a speckle noise reducing element (600) provided between the light source and the light modulation element, and a control unit which controls first mode and second mode. The control unit controls the speckle noise reducing element so that speckles are reduced in the first mode compared with those in the second mode.

  • Publication number: 20120081677
Abstract: A projection display apparatus includes a housing member containing a light source, an imager that modulates light emitted from the light source, and a projection unit that projects the light emitted from the imager on a projection surface. The projection display apparatus includes: a movement mechanism that moves an optical unit configured by the light source, the imager, and the projection unit, in a direction perpendicular to the projection surface while maintaining a positional relationship among the light source, the imager, and the projection unit.
