  • Publication number: 20240039201
Abstract: A connector comprises a contact pin, a housing into which the contact pin is inserted, and a retainer. The contact pin includes a contact point portion formed on an end thereof and defining an opening adapted to receive a mating contact, and an engagement portion. The engagement portion is defined at least partially through the contact point portion, and includes a continuous opening formed partially through a side wall of the contact point portion in a height direction and partially through a top wall or a bottom wall of the contact point portion in a width direction. The retainer is insertable into the housing in a direction intersecting the direction of insertion of the contact pin. The retainer is adapted to be inserted into the housing and engage with the engagement portion of the contact pin to secure the contact pin within the housing.

  • Publication number: 20230294422
Abstract: Disclosed is a printing apparatus in which web paper is transported to a printing face contact roller in a swirling form while a direction thereof is turned by first to fourth turning rollers. Heating units are arranged so as to face a printing face of the web paper between the two first and second turning rollers, between the two third and fourth turning rollers, and between the fourth turning roller and the printing face contact roller individually. Such arrangement can achieve a compact drying mechanism. The heating units each directly heat inks on the printing face, and thus do not overheat the web paper. Moreover, the heating units are not directed upward. This avoids contact of the web paper to a front side face of each of the heating units when the web paper slackens.

  • Patent number: 11707931
Abstract: An inkjet printing apparatus for printing on a printing medium by dispensing inks thereto. The apparatus includes a transport device; print heads for performing printing by dispensing the inks to the printing medium; and a drying section including a heat source for generating heat for drying the inks dispensed to the printing medium, and a shutter switchable between an open state and a closed state. In the open state, a drying amount of heat is applied for drying the inks dispensed to the printing medium, and in the closed state, the heat from the heat source is applied in a minute amount of heat smaller than the drying amount of heat. A controller switches the shutter to the open state when a transporting speed of the printing medium is faster than a predetermined threshold, and switches the shutter to the closed state when the transporting speed of the printing medium becomes equal to or less than the predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230178919
Abstract: A contact assembly includes a plurality of contacts serving as a socket in a laminated state and a spring. The contacts each have a mating portion forming the socket and a caught portion caught on a caught portion of another one of the contacts in a lamination direction of the contacts. At least two of the contacts adjacent to each other in the lamination direction have electrical continuity with each other via the spring that is compressible in the lamination direction between the caught portion of each of the contacts.

  • Patent number: 11177604
Abstract: A lance of a connector housing includes a pressed portion disposed at a free end of the lance, a buckling portion disposed closer to a fixed end of the lance opposite the free end than the pressed portion, and a buckling resisting portion disposed between the pressed portion and the buckling portion. The buckling portion buckles when a force exceeding a predetermined tolerance limit is applied to the pressed portion and the buckling resisting portion permits the buckling portion to buckle while reducing buckling of the pressed portion.

  • Patent number: 9862207
Abstract: A drying device includes a cooling unit, a gas outward guide unit, a gas inward guide unit, a gas supply unit, and a gas exhaust unit. The cooling unit feeds cooling wind toward a part near a heat source. The gas outward guide unit guides gas outwardly from the part near the heat source. The gas inward guide unit guides the outwardly-guided gas inwardly into the drying chamber. The gas supply unit supplies the inwardly-guided gas in the drying chamber to a neighborhood of an outer peripheral surface of the heat roller. The gas exhaust unit releases gas from a surrounding of the heat roller to the outside of a printing apparatus. Thus, high-temperature gas with heat absorbed from the part near the heat source is fed to the surrounding of the heat roller. This reduces humidity increase in the surrounding of the heat roller and reduces temperature drop of the heat roller, compared to feeding gas at ordinary temperature. Further, diffusion of the high-temperature gas in the printing apparatus is prevented.
