    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a casing, a door, a switching portion, an operating portion, and an operation regulating portion. The operating portion is moved to a first operating position in which the switching portion is set to the first state and, a second operating position in which the switching portion is set to the second state. The operation regulating portion is switched between a regulating state in which the operating portion is regulated not to move from the second operating position to the first operating position, and an allowable state in which the operating portion is allowable to move from the second operating position to the first operating position. When the operating portion is operated to be moved from the first operating position to the second operating position, the operation regulating portion is changed to the regulating state.
