    Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a resin molded product is configured to manufacture a resin molded product into which an elongated member is inserted. The apparatus for manufacturing the resin molded product includes a first mold having a first molding surface, and a second mold having a second molding surface. The first mold includes a protrusion. The protrusion protrudes from the first molding surface toward the second molding surface. The protrusion includes an end surface configured to come into contact with part of a first end surface of the elongated member. The second mold includes an accommodating recess, a holding portion disposed in the accommodating recess and configured to hold the elongated member with the protrusion, and a biasing member that is disposed in the accommodating recess and biases the holding portion toward the first molding surface.

    Abstract: A multi-stage helical gear manufacturing apparatus includes a first mold member, a second mold member, a large gear rotation core, a sleeve pin, a small gear rotation insert, and an insert pin. The second mold member moves the insert pin and the small gear rotation insert after the insert pin is caused to retreat in relation to the small gear rotation insert at the time of mold opening. The first mold member prohibits rotation of the large gear rotation core at the time of mold clamping, permits rotation of the large gear rotation core when the insert pin and the small gear rotation insert of the second mold member are moved at the time of mold opening, and causes the sleeve pin to advance toward the second mold member in relation to the plastic after the insert pin and the small gear rotation insert are separated from the plastic.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a fuel cell separator includes heating a sheet, pressing the sheet using a first die, thereby forming the sheet so as to have a predetermined thickness, cooling, together with the first die, the sheet that has been formed so as to have the predetermined thickness, and pressing the sheet that has undergone the cooling using a second die, thereby forming a gas passage in the sheet. In the sheet, a content of a thermoplastic resin is greater than or equal to 20 weight percent and less than or equal to 30 weight percent and a content of the carbon material particles is greater than or equal to 70 weight percent and less than or equal to 80 weight percent. The heating the sheet includes heating the sheet to a temperature that is higher than a melting point of the thermoplastic resin.
