    Abstract: Printing paper is provided which has a mixture layer including inorganic filler and hydrophobic resin formed on a piece of paper as a substrate for making a dye sprayed by vaporization or ablation adhere to the printing paper, and a printing method is provided which forms images on the printing paper by spraying a vaporized dye on the mixture layer without bringing the printing paper and the dye into contact with each other.
