Abstract: A banking terminal includes a plurality of locks which are provided at predetermined parts of the banking terminal and unlocked in response to instruction signals, a memory part for storing a table of attribute data in correspondence with one or a plurality of locks which are to be unlocked, a card reader for reading information from a identification card which prestores at least attribute data, and a control part for automatically unlocking one or a plurality of predetermined locks out of the locks by supplying instruction signals based on the attribute data read from the identification card by the card reader by referring to the table of the memory part.

Abstract: The present invention provides a microwave heating sterilizer provided with a mechanism for turning over a retainer made from a material being permeable to microwave and which contains a "material to be sterilized" in a cavity irradiated with microwave therein supporting shafts extend from positions determined at point symmetry with respect to the center of the retainer on the opposite ends thereof, and turning-over parts each having a higher slide surface than the other part thereof on the midway of a guide which conveys the retainer and a turning-over groove on the midpoint thereof are provided.

Abstract: A process for sterilizing a material contained in a sealed microwave permeable package which is stored, under normal pressure, in a heat resisting and pressure resisting support during microwave irradiation. The heat resisting and pressure resisting support is conveyed on a conveyor belt into a plurality of microwave heating chambers in which local heating waveguides are provided in close proximity to the heat resisting and pressure resisting support and overall heating waveguides are provided at the wall of the microwave heating chambers. The heat resisting and pressure resisting support with the package is alternately irradiated by the local heating waveguides and the overally heating waveguides during conveyance through the microwave heating chambers so as to effect the substantially uniform heating of the material in the package. To regulate the degree to which the peripheral portions of the package are heated, the distance between the local heating waveguides and the package can be adjusted.
