Abstract: A color photographic material composed of a support having thereon at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, whereinwith respect to helium-cadmium laser light having a wavelength of 441.6 nm, the ratio of the sensitivity of the green-sensitive emulsion layer to that of the blue-sensitive emulsion layer and the ratio of the sensitivity of the red-sensitive emulsion layer to that of the blue-sensitive emulsion layer are not more than 0.10;with respect to argon laser light having a wavelength of 514.5 nm, the ratio of the sensitivity of the blue-sensitive emulsion layer to that of the green-sensitive emulsion layer and the ratio of the sensitivity of the red-sensitive emulsion layer to that of the green-sensitive emulsion layer are not more than 0.10; andwith respect to helium-neon laser light having a wavelength of 632.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material for photo-mechanical process comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one light-insensitive upper layer which is positioned above the light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein at least one of the light-insensitive upper layers has a melting time longer than a melting time of the light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the light-insensitive upper layer contains a polymer latex.The silver halide photographic light-sensitive material has excellent aptitude for reduction treatment without increasing the amount of silver per unit area. The occurrence of reticulation is prevented with the silver halide photographic light-sensitive material.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material for plate making is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base having thereon a sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one upper insensitive layer having a melting time longer than the melting time of the sensitive silver halide emulsion layer. A method of reduction treatment for such silver halide light-sensitive material is also disclosed. The sensitive materials have excellent aptitude for reduction treatment and do not deteriorate even if the amount of silver per unit area is relatively small.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic material for a photomechanical process which has an excellent reduction processing aptitude is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support having a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer thereon and a light-insensitive layer disposed outside the silver halide emulsion layer. The light-insensitive layer contains a hydrophilic colloidal binder coated in such an amount per unit area as to be 1.0 or more times that of a hydrophilic colloidal binder contained in the silver halide emulsion layer.

Abstract: A lithographic silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is described which scarcely exhibits colored fringe and black pepper, forms halftone dots of good quality whether a fresh or an exhausted developer is used for processing thereof, and which scarcely shows a drop in sensitivity even when a developer contaminated by a fixing solution is used; said material comprises a support and at least one lithographic silver halide emulsion layer, and containing in said emulsion layer or in another hydrophilic colliodal layer which does not contain silver halide emulsion at least one compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein M represents hydrogen, an alkali metal ion or --NH.sub.4.sup..sym. ; X represents --SO.sub.2 NHR', --COOM', --SO.sub.3 M', --OH or --CONH.sub.2, wherein M' represents hydrogen, an alkali metal ion or --NH.sub.4.sup..sym.
