    Abstract: To diagnose whether a diagnostic function inside an RD converter is normally operated with a simple configuration even if abnormality occurs in the RD converter itself. A diagnostic device of an RD converter diagnostic unit according to the present invention generates and inputs a resolver output that is in an error state to an RD converter, and determines that the diagnostic unit is normally operated if a diagnosis result of the RD converter indicates an abnormal state.
