  • Patent number: 5564528
Abstract: A force motivating a strut to incline itself in the running direction (front-and-rear direction) of a movable main body is produced by impact stress caused by accelerating, decelerating or stopping the operation of a delivery device. Such force can securely be received by a bottom frame structure as well as by a reinforcing structure of the portions of projected corner members protruding in the running direction which are formed integrally with a cylindrical body of the strut at respective corners thereof. A force motivating the strut to incline itself in the direction orthogonal to the running direction is produced by inward/outward load delivery operation by means of a delivery instrument provided on a carriage. Such force can also securely be received by the bottom frame structure as well as by the reinforcing structure of the portions of the projected corner members protruding in the orthogonal direction.

  • Patent number: 5355976
Abstract: A handling apparatus for warehousing arrangement which is supported on and guided by a floor rail installed in, for example, a factory for movement along a predetermined track provided in front of load-in/load-out sections of a rack. A pair of front and rear posts upstanding from a travel carriage of the handling apparatus and spaced from each other in the dirction of horizontal movement of the carriage have opposed surfaces on which are formed front and rear guide faces. The elevator is guided at one and the other ends thereof by and along the front and rear guide faces so that the elevator is vertically movable along the guide faces. Cord members for vertical drive are arranged along the opposed surfaces of the pair of posts and are connected to the elevator. On the opposed surfaces of the posts at positions opposite to the cord members is defined a relief spacing between each cord member and each respective post.

  • Patent number: 5340262
Abstract: An automatic warehousing system which provides for improvement in the operating efficiency of the operator. An operating file has codes formed therein for incoming and outgoing goods. A code signal corresponding to a load and a operation mode signal for operation of the automatic warehousing system which are searched from the file are input to a control unit which controls load entry and delivery operations of a load handling crane. Management of load storing spaces within the rack and goods stored in the spaces is carried out according to these signals. In this way, inventory management is carried out by the control unit. Therefore, the operator can perform entry and delivery setting for the control unit without considering the rack number of the load storing space with respect to the load being handled. The system involves less operational procedure than the prior art arrangement and contributes toward improved operating efficiency.
