Abstract: A connector with a fitting adjustment mechanism includes a female or a male connector fitted to a mating connector, a first frame which surrounds the connector and a second frame which surrounds the first frame. The connector has a first mechanism for enabling step-by-step displacement of the connector with respect to the first frame along an X or Y direction within a plane substantially perpendicular to the fitting direction of the connectors, and a second mechanism for enabling step-by-step displacement of the first frame with respect to the second frame along the direction perpendicular to the displaceable direction of the connector.The first mechanism has protrusions on each of the opposite surfaces of the connector and a plurality of recesses provided on each of the opposite inner surfaces of the first frame with which the protrusions are engaged.

Abstract: A mounting construction of an on-vehicle electrical connection apparatus comprises a first electrical connection apparatus secured to a car body and a second electrical connection apparatus which is connected to the first electrical connection apparatus. An instrument panel frame secured to a dash board while temporarily holding the second electrical connection apparatus so that the second electrical connection apparatus opposes the first electrical connection apparatus. An instrument board is mounted to the instrument panel frame. The instrument board being electrically connected to the second electrical connection apparatus by means of connectors.

Abstract: A lid lock mechanism in an automobile switch panel device. The mechanism includes an open-top case, a switch panel accommodated in said case, a lid to cover the open-top case, pivotal shafts provided in the open-top case, and clutch members provided in a pair of holes in the lid. At a predetermined opening angle, the lid is maintained in a locked condition while the lid is easily closed manually with a force stronger than a predetermined level.
