  • Patent number: 7823507
Abstract: It is proposed to provide a printing die clamp which can clamp a printing die by rotating the take-up shaft without rotating the printing cylinder. A printing die clamp is proposed for clamping a printing die 1 wrapped around an outer periphery of a printing cylinder 2 of a printing press against the outer periphery of the printing cylinder 2 by engaging one end of the printing die 1 with the printing cylinder 2 through an engaging means 18 provided on the printing cylinder 2, engaging the other end of the printing die 1 with a take-up shaft 3 rotatably mounted in a receiving groove 19 formed in the outer periphery of the printing cylinder 2, and rotating the take-up shaft 3. The printing cylinder 2 has a tubular printing cylinder shaft 9 in which a control shaft 5 is inserted so as to be rotatable relative to the printing cylinder shaft 9.

  • Patent number: 7578778
Abstract: It is desired to provide a creasing device of which the distances between rollers of a plurality of creasing units are individually adjustable. A plurality of creasing units 40 each comprising a female creasing roll 41 and a male creasing roll 42 provided thereunder are provided so as to be positionable in a direction perpendicular to the feed direction of a corrugated sheet S0. As many roller arms 43 as the creasing units 40 are provided so as to be pivotable about a common first drive shaft 31. Each roller arm 43 rotatably supports one of the male creasing rolls 42. By pivoting each roller arm 43 with a pivoting means 45, the male creasing roll 42 is moved relative to the corresponding female creasing roll 41, thereby adjusting the distance between the rolls.

  • Publication number: 20090072476
Abstract: A sheet feed device is provided which can feed sheets with good accuracy even if the sheets are formed with a crease near the front or rear end of the sheet. A plurality of roller units 3 each having an upper feed roller 1 and a lower feed roller 2 are arranged perpendicularly to the sheet feed direction with spaces left therebetween, and adjacent ones of the roller units 3 are offset with respect to the sheet feed direction. Upper feed roller driving means for rotating the upper feed rollers 1 of the roller units simultaneously and lower feed roller driving means for rotating the lower feed rollers 2 of the roller units simultaneously are provided to feed sheets 5 with each sheet 5 clamped between the upper feed rollers 1 and the lower feed rollers 2 which are rotating.

  • Publication number: 20090062094
Abstract: A creasing/slotting device is provided which makes it possible to form slots at ends of creases with the axes of the slots aligned with the respective creases. A plurality of pairs of upper movable frames 6and lower movable frames 7are arranged perpendicularly to the sheet feed direction. An upper feed screw mechanism 10having a threaded shaft 11for individually moving each of the upper movable frames 6, a lower feed screw mechanism 14having a threaded shaft 15for individually moving each of the lower movable frames 7are provided, and a synchronizing mechanism 20is provided between the threaded shaft 11and 15to synchronize the rotations of the threaded shafts. A pair of creasing rolls 51and 52for forming creases are supported by each vertically opposed pair of the movable frames 6and 7, respectively. Downstream of the pair of the creasing rolls 51and 52, a pair of rotary cutters 71and 72are supported by the pair of movable frames 6and 7.
