  • Patent number: 8536302
Abstract: The purpose of the invention is to provide a novel purification system allowing the efficient and economical production and purification of a recombinant fused protein, whereby the elution time at a low temperature can be reduced, since it has been a problem to be solved in the existing purification method using dockerin and cohesin. In this purification system, a dockerin polypeptide characterized in that the 14th amino acid in the subdomain 2 of dockerin originating from Clostridium josui is substituted with another amino acid, and a method for purification of a recombinant fused protein are provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 27, 2008
Date of Patent: September 17, 2013
    Assignee: Sysmex Corporation
Inventors: Yukiko Ishikawa, Yoshiko Kamezaki, Chiaki Enomoto

  • Patent number: 7090998
Abstract: In a method for producing a target substance utilizing a microorganism, which comprises culturing a ?-proteobacterium in a medium to produce and accumulate the target substance in the medium or cells and collecting the target substance, there is used a strain in which the ArcA protein does not normally function in the cell by means of, for example, disruption of the arcA gene on the chromosome.

  • Publication number: 20050092965
Abstract: The present invention is to solve a problem that, conventionally, there is a risk of impurity elution when the optical retardation control layer obtainable by photopolymerization comes into contact with the liquid crystal layer because of the deterioration in heat resistance of the optical retardation control layer due to high temperature of post-process, the insufficient chemical resistance or the like. ?-amino alkylphenone based 2-methyl-1[4-(methylthio)phenyl]-2-morpholinopropane-1-one or 2-benzyl-2-dimethylamino-1-(4-morpholinophenyl)-butanone-1 are used as a photopolymerization initiator to be compounded in a composition for forming an optical retardation control layer or other optically functional layers.

  • Patent number: 6212000
Abstract: A two-way optical amplifying module directs an upward signal light into an optical amplifier through a first optical circulator and a first Wavelenght Division Multiplexer (WDM), and amplifies by exciting light sent from a light source through the first WDM. The exciting light excites an erbium-doped fiber to amplify the upward signal light, following which the amplified upward signal light passes through a second WDM and circulates within a second optical circulator where ASE (Amplified Spontaneous Emission) is eliminated by a reflecting bandpass filter during circulation, and transmitted from an output port. A downward signal light is directed to the optical amplifier through the second optical circulator and the second WDM.

  • Patent number: 6160658
Abstract: An optical amplifier for wavelength multiplexing optical transmission has an optical amplifier for amplifying wavelength-multiplexed signal light in which signal lights having wavelengths different from each other are wavelength-multiplexed and outputting the amplified wavelength-multiplexed signal light from an output terminal, and a light-removing portion which is disposed along the light path after the optical amplifier and removes spontaneous emission light existing between the wavelengths of the signal lights included in the amplified wavelength-multiplexed signal light.
