Abstract: A stackable handcart includes a cart frame, a display, and a restriction member. The cart frame includes a receiving portion on which a shopping basket is placeable and a front end portion that abuts a first stackable handcart when the stackable handcart is stacked with the first stackable handcart from behind the first stackable handcart. The display is attached to the cart frame. The restriction member is attached to the cart frame at a position to abut a front end portion of a second stackable handcart when the second stackable handcart is stacked with the stackable handcart from behind the stackable handcart. The restriction member is positioned such that a display of the second stackable handcart does not abut the display of the stackable handcart when the front end portion of the second stackable handcart abuts the restriction member.

  • Publication number: 20180240090
Abstract: A theft detection machine is connected to a register machine and a checkout machine that are located in a point-of-sale (POS) area of a store. The theft detection machine includes a storage device in which feature data of each customer included in a first image captured during a transaction carried out at the register machine, are stored, an audio output device, and a controller configured to extract feature data from second images that include customers leaving the exit of the POS area of the store, and upon determining that at least two person are captured in the first image and the transaction has not been settled at the checkout machine, compare the feature data of each customer included in the first image and the feature data extracted from the second images and control the audio output device to sound an alert based on a result of the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20170316396
Abstract: A managing unit correlates and manages a first captured image with an accounting device identifier of one accounting device designated so as to perform accounting processing of the registered commodity among accounting device identifiers for respectively identifying a plurality of accounting devices. The first captured image is a customer who asks a sales clerk operating a registration device to register a commodity. The specifying unit compares a second captured image of a customer who operates the accounting device to each first captured image, and specifies the first captured image, when the accounting device starts the accounting processing. The determining unit determines whether an accounting device identifier corresponding to the first captured image coincides with an accounting device identifier of the accounting device operated by the customer included in the second captured image.

  • Publication number: 20130056530
Abstract: An electronic device comprises an input section arranged in a main body, a printing section which is arranged in the main body at the position adjacent to the input section and holds a continuous-feed paper in its interior and prints various information onto the continuous-feed paper, a connecting member which is connected to the main body via a first shaft at the position adjacent to the input section and the printing section and a display section which is connected to the connecting member via the second shaft. The display section is located at the position where the transfer of the continuous-feed paper into and from the printing section is impeded in usual usage state, and the continuous-feed paper can be transferred into and from the printing section by the action of the connecting member via the first shaft and the action of the display section via the second shaft.

Abstract: A cable extends from a ceiling section of a unit body to a bottom section of the unit body, is wound around a lower half circumference of a pulley, and extends to the ceiling section of the unit body. A fixed end as one end of the cable is fixed to the ceiling section of the unit body. A handy scanner is connected to a free end as the other end of the cable. The ceiling section of the unit body has a passing section through which the cable passes. The pulley rotates and rises and falls between the bottom section and the ceiling section along the longitudinal direction of the unit body.
