  • Patent number: 8437494
Abstract: To provide a mount structure of an electromechanical acoustic transducer which enables making of an attempt to pursuit miniaturization while maintaining an acoustic characteristic. A cylindrical closed-end yoke 13 is attached to a frame 12, which is attached to an interior surface 11b of a housing 11 by way of a wall portion 19, in a direction where a bottom 13b of the yoke approaches the housing 11; hence, a sound channel 14 is defined between the yoke 13 and the wall portion 19 without an increase in the thickness of the electromechanical acoustic transducer. A superior acoustic characteristic can hereby be acquired. Alternatively, the sound channel 14 can be assured even when the electromechanical acoustic transducer is miniaturized, and thus an attempt can be made to pursuit miniaturization while maintaining an acoustic characteristic.

  • Patent number: 8121301
Abstract: An earpiece, an electronic device, and a communication device, capable of reducing the influence of leakage of sounds from a clearance between the earpiece and an ear not to need an addition of parts are provided. An earpiece (100) includes an electromechanical acoustic transducer (10) having a diaphragm and for generating a sound by vibrating the diaphragm in response to an electric signal, a case (11) on which a sound hole (12) is provided and in which the electromechanical acoustic transducer (10) is housed, and a holding member (13) for holding the electromechanical acoustic transducer (10) in the case (11). The electromechanical acoustic transducer (10) has a sound pressure-frequency characteristic that is compensated in advance such that the sound pressure-frequency characteristic is planarized in a condition that the generated sound is leaked from a user's ear (14) being covered with the case (11).

  • Publication number: 20070297637
Abstract: Provided is a speaker unit, which is enabled by a simple constitution to retain characteristics such as a satisfactory output sound pressure. The speaker unit 100 has a frame including a first casing 11 and a second casing 14. A sound hole 12 is formed at the center of the upper face of the first casing 11, and a fixing portion 13 is formed on the inner face side. Between the fixing portion 13 and the second casing 14, there is interposed a vibration absorbing member 15. This vibration absorbing member 15 stabilizes the arrangement of a speaker 10, and absorbs the mechanical vibrations to be generated from the speaker 10 at the action time of the speaker 10, thereby to vibrate the speaker 10, the first casing 11 and the fixing portion 13 homogeneously. As a result, the sound to be emitted from the speaker 10 through the sound hole 12 and the sound to be emitted by the mechanical vibrations transmitted from the speaker 10, through the first casing 11 are efficiently emitted.

  • Patent number: 6842626
Abstract: A portable cellular phone comprising a case body and a sliding cover is disclosed. The case body includes an operating section and stopper portions. The sliding cover covers the operating section of said case body and is slidably supported on said case body. The stopper portions of the case body restrict a sliding range of said sliding cover. The sliding cover is mounted and detached with respect to said case body by applying an outer force to the sliding cover in a direction perpendicular to a sliding direction when the sliding cover is positioned at a specific position within the sliding range. When the sliding cover is mounted, one of locking portions of the sliding cover is engaged with one of locking portions of the case body, and the other locking portion of the sliding cover is aligned in position on the other locking portion of the case body. The sliding cover is fit to the case body by applying an outer force.
