Abstract: A continuous line is set on a display region of an operation panel provided in a sewing machine M and a plurality of sewing patterns is automatically arranged along the continuous line based on sewing data selected from a ROM. Integrated sewing data related to a continuous sewing pattern including the sewing patterns is created, an operation of the sewing machine is controlled based on the integrated sewing data so that the continuous sewing pattern can be sewn onto a cloth.

Abstract: A sewing machine includes an embroidery frame which holds a cloth marked with a reference line and a reference point, a display portion which displays a virtual reference line, a virtual reference point, and an embroidery pattern having a size larger than the embroidery frame, means for displaying a sewing region corresponding to the embroidery frame on the display portion such that a section of the embroidery pattern, the virtual reference line and the virtual reference point are displayed inside the sewing region, means for acquiring position information of the reference point and another point on the reference line, sewing data correcting means for correcting sewing data on the embroidery pattern by interrelating the position information with the virtual reference line and the virtual reference point, and means for sewing the section of the embroidery pattern in accordance with the sewing data corrected by the sewing data correcting means.

Abstract: An embroidery sewing machine includes a needle, a needle driving section which vertically drives the needle, a cloth holding section which holds a cloth, a moving section which moves the cloth holding section along a plane, a storage section, an array calculating section and a control section. The array calculating section arranges a plurality of outlines of the piece in the sewing enabling region based on the cutting line data and the region data that are stored in the storage section, and obtains array data representing each arrangement position of the outlines of the piece and each rotating angles of the outlines of the piece in respective arrangement positions. The control section controls the moving section and the needle driving section in accordance with the array data and the cutting line data so as to form a cutting line of a seam on the cloth.
