  • Publication number: 20150154752
Abstract: According to an image processor of one embodiment, a first acquirer acquires a first perspective image of a target, which has a first resolution. A second acquirer acquires a second perspective image of the target, which has a second resolution. A first image generator generates first and second display images respectively from the first and second perspective images. The first and third display images have a third resolution lower than at least one of the first and second resolutions. A first point acquirer acquires first and second corresponding points respectively on the first and second display images. A first corrector searches, on the second perspective image, a second image similar to a first image on the first perspective image, the first image including the first corresponding point, and changes, on the second perspective image, a position of the second corresponding point to a position of the second image.

  • Publication number: 20150117605
Abstract: According to some embodiments, an image processor includes a perspective image generator, a perspective image acquirer, a corresponding point acquirer, a first calculator and a display image generator. The first calculator updates the position of the one or more first corresponding point on the first perspective image, based on a difference in position between the first and second perspective images. The display image generator generates a first display image including the first and second perspective images, the one or more first corresponding points updated on the first perspective image, and the one or more second corresponding points on the second perspective image. The perspective image generator changes the first direction into a third direction based on the difference in position between the first and second perspective images, and generates an updated one, viewed in the third direction, of the first perspective image.

  • Publication number: 20150018595
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a treatment system includes a plurality of first radiators, a plurality of detectors, a determiner, and a controller. Each of the first radiators irradiates a radioactive beam to a subject. Each of the detectors detects a radioactive beam transmitted through the subject and generates an image based on the detected radioactive beam. The determiner determines whether an object in the subject is included in a first region using a given image that is one of the images. The controller controls the first radiators so that, when the object is not included in the first region, a smaller amount of radioactive beams is irradiated per unit time than when the object is included in the first region.

  • Publication number: 20140334708
Abstract: An image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a generator, a selector, a first detector, and a second detector. The generator generates a group of frames corresponding to reconstructed images that correspond to a plurality of heartbeat phases of a heart. The selector specifies a corresponding frame that corresponds to a specific heartbeat phase from among the group of frames. The a first detector detects a boundary of the heart in the corresponding frame. The second detector detects a boundary of the heart in the frames other than the corresponding frame, by using the detected boundary in the corresponding frame.
