    Abstract: A medical tube clamp wherein first and second plate parts including, on opposing surfaces, compressive protrusions for closing a medical tube are provided with a pair of side walls on both sides projecting from one toward an other of the plate parts, and are also provided with a central guide protrusion projecting from the other toward the one of the plate parts. Both sides of a tip portion of the central guide protrusion make sloping guide surfaces projecting toward a center. When the plate parts are displaced relative to each other so as to become closer, lateral displacement of them is corrected by a slide of the pair of side walls and the sloping guide surfaces, and the central guide protrusion is inserted between the pair of side walls.

    Abstract: There is provided a winged indwelling needle for reducing the possibility of damaging a blood vessel or the like by a cannula, including a movable unit 1 having the cannula and a hub, a tube 2 connected to the rear portion of the hub, a holder 3, and a fixing wing 4, in which the movable unit 1 is provided on the holder 3 so as to be capable of sliding in the axial direction, is capable of changing in position between a position in use and a stored position which is behind the position in use, and the movable unit 1 is fixed to the position in use so as to be releasable. The holder 3 includes a protecting cylinder 26 which stores only the front portion including a blade point 6A of the cannula 6 in the interior thereof when the movable unit is positioned at the stored position and is provided with the fixing wing 4, and a guide member 27 exposed upward for guiding the sliding movement of the movable unit 1.

    Abstract: An adapter 4 fitted in a tube holder 1 is composed of four flexible extensions 23 integral with the forward end of the adapter, and each extension includes a slanted portion 27 and a gripping portion 28 which may have a stopping lug 30 formed on the latter portion. An evacuated tube 3 is closed with a plug 15, which compresses an elastic sheath 12 covering the needle and is pierced by it together with the sheath, when inserted into the adapter 4 for taking a blood sample. The slanted portions 27 are elastically swingable outwardly to render the plug 15 coaxial with the holder 1. The gripping portions 28 are also capable of flexing following the swung slanted portions so that their forward ends are transitionally displaced centrifugally and then restored to their straight position to hold the plug 15 such that even if its outer diameter is considerably smaller than the inner diameter of the holder 1, the sampling needle 2 can penetrate the plug through its central zone and the plug is not "kicked back".

The tubular member has an annular flange so designed that its diameter increases in the direction toward the closed bottom to form a groove between its flange and the flange of the stopper whereas the cap member is provided with at least two inward projections of which one projection is adapted to engage with the flange of the tubular member, the other projection being engaged with the flange of the stopper and held in the groove.
