The display device is disposed on an upper surface of the reel main body and displays various kinds of measure information measured by a measuring instrument such as a fishing line length value and various kinds of set information. A display direction of display values in the display device is switchable in accordance with the specification of a handle or a visible direction. Further, the display values in the display device are arranged in a direction parallel to a direction in which a fishing line is played out.
