  • Patent number: 7281025
Abstract: A triggered DDS generator architecture accumulates a phase increment value in response to a DDS clock to generate phase accumulator values for addressing a waveform lookup table which contains a desired output signal. A time measurement circuit determines a time interval between the arrival of a trigger signal and a subsequent cycle of the DDS clock, which time interval is used to either adjust an initial phase accumulator value or delay the DDS clock so that a constant time is maintained between the arrival of the trigger signal and the desired output signal.

  • Patent number: 5796767
Abstract: A driver circuit of a light-emitting device that is able to reduce the current consumption. This circuit includes a reference current source for generating a reference current, a cascode current source circuit for generating a driving current for the light-emitting device with the use of the reference current, and an input circuit for switching the driving current according to a data signal. The cascode current source circuit has a first current mirror formed by first and second transistors and a second current mirror formed by third and fourth transistors. The first transistor is supplied with a first constant current proportional to the reference current, and controls the second transistor so that the driving current flows through the second transistor. The third transistor is supplied with a second constant current proportional to the reference current, and generates a mirror current with respect to the second constant current.

  • Patent number: 5724170
Abstract: A control circuit of a light-emitting device comprises a negative-feedback loop including a photodetector and a sample and hold circuit. The photodetector monitors an optical signal emitted by the light-emitting device and the sample and hold circuit generates a control signal supplied to a light-emitting device driver. The sample and hold circuit performs the sampling of a monitored signal each time the light-emitting device emits light and holds the sampled monitored signal. The voltage held in the sample and hold circuit is output as the control signal the light-emitting device driver. The light-emitting device driver drives the light-emitting device to switch on and off according to the input digital data with the output light intensity of the light-emitting device controlled by the control signal so as to be kept at a constant level.

  • Patent number: 4513362
Abstract: A voltage inverter device has a ROM which stores digital values in advance. The digital value is proportional to a voltage-time integration value of an AC output voltage waveform which corresponds to each of a plurality of basic electrical angle intervals. The digital values stored in the ROM are sequentially read out to be compared with time data supplied by a time counter. Comparison results correspond to specific electrical angles of the AC output voltage waveform. The results are combined by a logical circuit so as to obtain a control signal for generating an AC output voltage of desired waveform.
