    Abstract: This document describes apparatuses that include integrated memory card ejector and sensor ports. A first described aspect of an apparatus includes a memory card connector, a housing, and a carriage. The memory card connector includes a receiver configured to receive a memory card and an ejector assembly configured to eject the memory card from the receiver. The housing includes a sidewall that includes a memory card slot and an integrated port. The integrated port defines an outside opening of the housing. The carriage includes a slide portion slidably positioned in the integrated port and is accessible through the outside opening of the housing. The carriage includes a carriage body having an outer port, a sensor port, and an acoustic chamber defined within the carriage body. The carriage includes an ejector connector configured for contacting the ejector assembly and a sensor assembly mounted on the carriage at the sensor port.

    Abstract: The refuse processing machine of the invention reduces the bulk of the waste by heating and drying the waste in the waste container by heating means. The grinding and stirring means is operated while heating and drying, and the waste is ground and stirred. The waste is ground into small pieces by the grinding and stirring means, and heat of the heating means is hence smoothly transmitted to the inside of the waste, so that the moisture in the waste may be removed efficiently.

    Abstract: Refuse 21 in a refuse container 2 is heated by a heater 16, and the steam generated from the refuse 21 is condensed by a condenser 8. The ambient temperature near the refuse container 2 is detected by a first temperature detector 6, and the output of the heater 16 is controlled by the output of the first temperature detector 6 so that the temperature near the refuse container 2 may be a specific temperature, and the temperature of the steam flowing out from the refuse container 2 into the condenser 8 is detected by a second temperature detector 7 at the condenser 8. When the temperature change of the second temperature detector 7 exceeds a specific value, the drying process is terminated, so that the drying end time can be detected accurately without allowing to scorch.

    Abstract: A centrifugal separator comprises a follow rotor which is formed with a row of pores arranged circumferentially of the rotor and perforated, cylindrical film detachably received on the inner peripheral surface of the rotor. A mass of a semifluid material positioned within the film is splashed on to the inner surface of the film by a centrifugal force so that the liquid content of the material is passed through the film. The film is radially contracted by the liquid pressure developed between the film and the inner peripheral surface of the rotor and forms a cylindrical interstice between the film and the rotor, providing an additional filter medium through which the liquid is filtered and withdrawn from the pores. The rotor may be closed throughout its area and have a free longitudinal end from which to allow the liquid to withdraw. The centrifugal separator finds an application as a juice extractor if provided with a grating disc.
