  • Publication number: 20030021574
Abstract: The optical fiber positioning structure of the present invention is provided with a fiber support member 11 permitting the holding of an optical fiber 9 in a fiber coupling 22, and a pedestal 3 supporting fiber support member 11. An indentation 25 having a depth permitting downward movement of the optical fiber is formed in pedestal 3. Optical fiber 9 is held in a state ensuring space at least above and below by fiber coupling 22. During positioning of the optical fiber, the opposite side from the end of the optical fiber being positioned is moved vertically to rotate the optical fiber about a rotation center at a point near the end being positioned, permitting fine movement of the end being positioned.

  • Patent number: 6332721
Abstract: An LD module is provided in having an LD light source having a CAN package structure in which an LD chip is incorporated with an LD preservation gas, an optical fiber on one end of which a convex fiber lens for condensing light is formed, and a lens system for coupling placed between the LD light source and the convex fiber lens, wherein the lens system is constituted to be capable of forming an image by condensing the LD light from the LD chip, and wherein the convex fiber lens is located so that a focal point coincides with the image forming point of the LD light. According to the LD module of the invention, the light coupling efficiency between the LD chip and the optical fiber can be improved without losing the life span reliability of the LD chip having a CAN package structure.

  • Patent number: 4702780
Abstract: This invention realizes the improvement of the surface properties and the magnetic characteristics in such a way that a large amount of Si of 3.1-4.5% is incorporated into a raw material, a small amount of Al and a very small amount of S or Se are used as inhibitor together with Mo, and the slab heating is so performed at a temperature of not lower than 1,270.degree. C. that the scale loss may reach 2.7-5.0%, whereby the inhibitor is fully dissociated and solid-solved to conspicuously strengthen the growth inhibiting effect against the primary recrystallization grains in the secondary recrystallization annealing for promoting the growth of the secondary recrystallization grains in the {110}<001> orientation, thereby forming the secondary recrystallization texture extremely strongly arranged in the {110}<001> orientation, so that a high magnetic flux density and a low iron loss is attained with effectively preventing cracks in hot rolling after slab soaking.

  • Patent number: 4206004
Abstract: A pretreatment of cold-rolled steel sheet for annealing so as to suppress graphite formation on the surface thereof and nitrogenization during the annealing for recrystallization, by causing an effective amount of sulfur, aluminum, tin, arsenic, lead, antimony, bismuth, selenium, and/or tellurium to exist on the steel sheet surface.
