    Abstract: A direct-heated flow measuring apparatus including a substrate, a film resistor for generating heat and sensing its temperature, and a feedback control circuit for controlling the heat generated by the film resistor so that the temperature of the film resistor is a predetermined value. Also, provided in the substrate is an aperture or the like for throttling the heat transfer of the film resistor. Further, a reinforced structure is formed on the part of substrate where the aperture or the like is formed.

    Abstract: A semiconductor type flow rate detecting apparatus having first and second control units arranged at upstream and downstream positions respectively in a flow stream to be measured and an operation circuit. The first control unit includes a first temperature detecting element and a first temperature control heater. The second control unit includes a second temperature detecting element, a second temperature control heater and a preliminary heater. The operation circuit controls the second and preliminary heaters and generates a signal indicative of flow rate. The operation circuit has a constant power consumption circuit to control heat from the preliminary heater to a constant level.

    Abstract: A rotary pulse switch for digital tuners or the like comprises a rotor which is provided with a plurality of protrusions spaced at equal intervals on the peripheral edge of one surface thereof and to which an operation rod is fixed. A housing receives the rotor in a rotatable manner and contact members are respectively disposed at right and left ends within the housing. A member slidable rightwards and leftwards is held midway between both the contact members. By rotating the operation rod a predetermined angle clockwise or counterclockwise, the protrusion of the rotor moves the slidable member rightwards or leftwards so as to be able to turn the contact member "on" repeatedly at the right or left end.

    Abstract: An automatic welding apparatus comprising a workpiece fixture carried by a moving member for rotation about a horizontal axis extending in a back and forth direction, said moving member being provided on a carriage for sliding movement in a lateral direction, said carriage being provided for sliding movement in said back and forth direction, and a torch fixture carried by an arm for rotation about a vertical axis, said arm being provided for sliding movement in the vertical direction. In another embodiment, the workpiece fixture is provided only for rotation about a horizontal axis extending in the back and forth direction, and the torch fixture is carried by the arm for rotation about the vertical axis, which arm is provided at the end of a column for sliding movement in said lateral direction, which column is provided on a sliding member for sliding movement in the vertical direction, which sliding member is provided on a guide for sliding movement in said back and forth direction.
