  • Patent number: 11959147
Abstract: A top-blowing lance nozzle is configured to freely switch an adequate expansion condition so as to control an oxygen-blowing amount and a jetting velocity independently of each other without requiring a plurality of lance nozzles or a mechanically movable part. A lance nozzle is configured to blow refining oxygen to molten iron charged in a reaction vessel while a gas is blown from a top-blowing lance to the molten iron. One or more blowing holes for blowing a working gas are on an inner wall side surface of the nozzle, at a site where the lance nozzle has a minimum cross-sectional area in a nozzle axis direction or at a neighboring site of the site.

  • Patent number: 10399428
Abstract: A vehicle includes an engine, a generator, and a motor. The engine burns a gaseous mixture in a cylinder to output a drive force. The generator generates electricity by being rotated by the drive force outputted from the engine. The motor drives by utilizing electric power generated by the generator or electric power that has accumulated in a battery charged with electric power generated by the generator, and the motor thereby outputs a vehicle-running drive force. A case covering the motor is of larger diameter than a case covering a differential. The motor has an output shaft outputting the vehicle-running drive force, and has the output shaft disposed parallel to a vehicle width direction. The generator is disposed such that part of the generator overlaps an upper section of the case covering the differential.

  • Publication number: 20080314339
Abstract: Exhaust ports and an exhaust gas gathering portion are formed within a cylinder head. A main passage is formed within an engine body. Through the main passage, a coolant is introduced from the inside of a cylinder block into the inside of the cylinder head at portions near exhaust valves, flows in portions near intake valves and portions near intake ports toward a side wall face of the cylinder head in the lateral direction of the engine body, and then flows into the cylinder block. A portion of the coolant, which is introduced into the portions near the exhaust valves, is caused to flow in portions near the exhaust ports toward a side wall face of the cylinder head, and then flows along the side wall face toward a coolant outlet.

  • Publication number: 20070044767
Abstract: The base end portion of an injector is connected to a delivery pipe. A fuel passage, through which the fuel in the delivery pipe flows close by an injection port formed in the front end portion of a valve body and is then returned to the delivery pipe, is formed in the injector. Even if communication between the fuel passage and the injection port is blocked by a needle valve, the fuel constantly flows close to the injection port while circulating in the fuel injection system, Also, part of the fuel flowing through the fuel passage is injected from the injection port to a combustion chamber by permitting the communication between the fuel passage and the injection port.

  • Patent number: 6030051
Abstract: A two-piece steel wheel includes a disk and a rim. At an inboard surface, the disk has a machined surface from an end of a radially outer portion of the disk to a position radially inwardly spaced away from an inside surface of a rim bead seat of the rim. The machined surface is connected via a curved surface to a non-machined surface of a radially inner portion of the disk. The rim bead seat is abutted to the machined surface of the radially outer portion of the disk and welded with the disk. A sealant is coated to the corner of the rim bead set and the disk from an inside of the rim.
