Abstract: The room temperature control unit is provided with a switch for determining whether the room is vacant or occupied and if required with a switch for determining whether the room is cooled or heated, so that the room temperature is controlled while the room is vacant to be somewhat (e.g. 2.degree. C.) higher than a set temperature when the room is cooled, and somewhat (e.g. 2.degree. C.) lower than a set temperature when the room is heated.
