Patent number: 5665676Abstract: A printing sheet of the type which is used in a thermal transfer system, the printing sheet comprising a support and a dye receiving layer formed thereon, the dye receiving layer including a polymer containing isocyanate group, the polymer having polysiloxane unit and urea unit. The isocyanate group-containing polymer is selected from a reaction product between a multifunctional polyisocyanate compound and amino-modified silicone, or a reaction product between a multifunctional polyisocyanate compound and alcohol-modified silicone or carboxyl-modified silicone and an amine compound or water. According to the present invention, both the writing characteristic and anti-sebaceous characteristic on an image surface are improved simultaneously while basic characteristics such as printing sheet sensitivity, image preservative stability, and so on, are satisfied.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 1995Date of Patent: September 9, 1997Assignees: Sony Corporation, New Oji Paper Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshinori Nakamura, Huy Sam, Yoshio Fujiwara, Toshikazu Nagura, Shigeo Hayasi, Yukio Kusaka

Patent number: 4216020Abstract: The invention relates to carbonaceous bricks having resistance to fire and corrosion, capable of withstanding mechanical impact to which the conventional carbonaceous bricks were vulnerable, and usable in an oxidizing atmosphere, and the method as producing the same. The invention has for an object to obtain carbonaceous bricks having said high properties by mixing less than 60 weight % of inorganic material with 40.about.100 weight % of pellets consisting of carbonaceous material containing substantially more than 70 weight % of carbon and a bonding agent comprising pulverized phenol resin, liquid thermosetting resin and/or setting accelerator, bricks formed therefrom containing more than 40 weight % of carbon.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 1979Date of Patent: August 5, 1980Assignee: Kyusyu Refractories Co., Ltd.Inventors: Akira Watanabe, Tetsuya Sugimoto, Yukio Kusaka, Noboru Shinoda, Takanori Shimizu

Patent number: 4148165Abstract: A fire brick unit or assembly is proposed which has a pile of fire bricks laid one upon another on a supporting member to facilitate the building and dismantling of industrial furnaces. It further includes suspending members on which can be lifted with a crane or the like. There is no necessity of laying or removing fire bricks one by one.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 1977Date of Patent: April 10, 1979Assignee: Kyushu Taikarenga Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Akira Watanabe, Yukio Kusaka, Shigeo Sasaki

Patent number: 4130438Abstract: A composite brick is proposed which is produced by integrally molding two kinds of bodies, a magnesia-carbonaceous refractory and a basic refractory. These two bodies are put into respective positions in a metal case partitioned by a plate and subjected to pressure molding into a compact brick unit. This composite brick is much less expensive than the conventional high-purity magnesia-carbonaceous bricks. This means a substantial saving in the manufacturing cost of a furnace.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 1977Date of Patent: December 19, 1978Assignee: Kyushu Taikarenga Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Akira Watanabe, Yukio Kusaka, Yoshihiro Suzuki
