  • Patent number: 5033671
Abstract: A hot-water and cold-water mixing device is provided wherein a hot-water side valve element and a cold-water side valve element are provided for regulating the respective flow rates of hot and cold water flows. The valve elements are constructed so as to possess a temperature regulating function exercised by varying the hot-water to cold-water mixing ratio depending on a biasing force, and also an automatic pressure regulating function to automatically accommodate any sudden pressure changes. The water mixing device of the foregoing construction is compact in size and is capable of adjusting the final water temperature reliably and speedily.

  • Patent number: 4816993
Abstract: A plurality of operation units are connected to one another. The operation units include a processor, a buffer memory, and a data transfer control circuit connected between the processor and the buffer memory for controlling the data input-output with the buffer memories in the other of the operation units. The buffer memories and the data transfer control circuit are connected with one another by data buses, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4738283
Abstract: In regulating a burning gas quantity of a gas combustion apparatus, a gas flow controller is used. The gas flow controller is constructed such that a closing member within a cock is rotated by using a motor. The closing member has a plurality of holes formed in the axial direction of the member and a plurality of grooves each corresponding to the hole and formed in the circumferential direction of the member. The cock is used for changing, opening and closing a plurality of orifice passageways. The motor is driven in accordance with a signal from a position determining unit which discriminates the position of the cock. The gas flow controller can advantageously ensure a high precision of gas flow, a high reduction ratio, and a low power consumption.

  • Patent number: 4385887
Abstract: A combustion control apparatus comprises a premix combustion burner requiring primary air, an injector disposed in a primary air passage and including a constricted section having a fixed diameter and length, an enlarged section communicating with the constricted section and a fuel injecting port disposed concentrically with the constricted section and in a predetermined region, and a pressure regulator disposed in a fuel feed passage communicating with the fuel injecting port, the arrangement being such that the pressure regulator is controlled so that the pressure difference between the outlet section of the pressure regulator and the inlet section of the injector may be within the fixed range of the pressure difference produced between the inlet and constricted sections of the injector on the basis of the amount of primary air at the time of the lowest input, thereby maintaining the ratio between the amounts of air and fuel at a constant value and securing combustion stability and high combustion efficienc

  • Patent number: 4149155
Abstract: A standard picture such as a circle, of which the magnitude can be varied in response to the present value of a main plant data signal (or significant data), is displayed in a picture-plane of a display means. The present values of a large amount of plant data being monitored is displayed along the above-mentioned standard picture. When all of the plant data represents the normal state to the present value of the significant data, a picture constructed by plotting spots which indicates the plant data in a picture plane of display means, may be identified with the standard picture. Thus, the present value of the significant data can be determined by the magnitude of the standard picture, and whether the plant state is normal or abnormal can be determined by the picture constructed by plotting the spots of the plant data.
