    Abstract: The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a head-up display device suitable for a curved windshield in a head-up display device provided with a combiner and a cover wherein the cover moves in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A front part of a guide rail extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is curved downward. A cover, which moves along this guide rail, is moved by a drive link and a driven link. Because the curved guide rail is used, the dimension of a head-up display device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle can be reduced, a large inclined surface can be provided on the upper front part of a housing, and the head-up display device can be placed close to a curved windshield.

The mounting unit has a securing lever capable of rotating around a shaft part, and when a pressing bar of the securing lever is rotated in the direction toward the combiner holder while the combiner holder is mounted on the mounting unit, the securing lever secures the combiner holder on the mounting unit.

The motor device includes: a motor having a motor shaft projecting from a motor body; a worm connected to the motor shaft and having a spiral groove formed on the outer peripheral surface; and a worm wheel provided with teeth engaging with the spiral groove and transmitting a driving force from the motor to the concave mirror. A hole is formed inside the worm extending in the axial direction of the worm from the end face of the worm near the motor body. A compression coil spring is arranged in the hole for biasing the worm in the direction opposite the motor body and biasing the motor shaft toward the motor body.

A support body has vertical guide grooves for guiding the pins. A vertical drive mechanism is provided for driving the holder in the vertical direction.
