  • Publication number: 20050230667
Abstract: The present invention provides a conductive adhesive comprising conductive particles and a resin wherein 30% by weight or more of the conductive particles substantially comprise silver and tin, and a molar ratio of silver and tin in the metal components of the conductive adhesive is in the range of 77.5:22.5 to 0:100; and a circuit connected by using the conductive adhesive.

  • Patent number: 5832393
Abstract: Although a chelating agent solution having radioactive contaminants is solidified by mixing with cement and then stored, a vast storage place is required for storing an enormous amount of chelating agent solution. When such a chelating agent solution is treated with an ion-exchange resin, a large amount of ion-exchange resin is required, and a large amount of ion-exchange resin having radioactive contaminants is produced. The present invention thus provides a method of treating a chelating agent solution having radioactive contaminants, which can significantly decrease the amount of the chelating agent solution having radioactive contaminants, and which, when an ion-exchange resin is used, can significantly decrease the load on the ion-exchange resin without producing a large amount of ion-exchange resin having radioactive contaminants.

  • Patent number: 5738710
Abstract: The invention provides a method and apparatus for recovering a target material including using an adsorbent such as activated charcoal, the target material recovered in a continuous manner, as well as a method and an apparatus for recovering a solvent based on such a method and apparatus. The adsorbent for the target material is rotated to move the adsorbed material in direction of centrifugal force while the target material is attracted to the adsorbent. The excess target material is detached from a peripheral edge of the adsorbent by centrifugal force. The detached material is recovered by a recovery device provided in corresponding relation to the adsorbent.

  • Patent number: 4043661
Abstract: An enlarger-printer wherein aperture cards, each mounting a microfilm, are fed one after another from a card hopper, moved in the direction in which the major sides of the cards are oriented and scanned in the direction in which the minor sides of the cards are oriented, so that imagewise exposing of a photosensitive member can be effected for each card to form an enlarged latent image of the film of each card on the photosensitive member, which latent image is then converted into a visible image. Before each card is scanned, the card is moved upwardly a distance corresponding to the margin between the image and the upper edge of the film to reduce the time required for effecting scanning. Switching between lenses of different magnifications, exposing slits of different widths and scanning speeds consistent with desired magnifications of the image can be effected simultaneously by simply actuating a lever.

  • Patent number: 3965556
Abstract: A jacket holder for holding a jacket wherein strips of microfilm are inserted into pockets formed in the jacket. The jacket holder comprises first and second plate members hinged with each other for holding the jacket therebetween. The first plate member includes a raised inclined surface portion at its one end portion with film strip inserting passageways formed beneath the raised portion and the second member includes a recessed inclined surface portion complementary to the raised portion. By means of the cooperating raised and recessed portions, the jacket held by the two members is bent at the portion where inlets for the pockets exist so that a film strip is easily inserted into the pocket through the passageway and the inlet. A system is also disclosed for automatically inserting film strips into the jacket pockets.

  • Patent number: 3964828
Abstract: An electrophotographic process and a system for preparing microfilm is provided in which use is made of a roll film including a photosensitive layer a thin film of organic photoconductive material on a film of polyester. A portion of the film is taken out of the roll and is conveyed to and stationarily held in a processing position where the film plane is vertical. A movable unit including a charger, an exposure window and a vessel of developing solution is moved parallel to the photosensitive surface which is thus held in place, in a direction which traverses the optical axis of a taking lens as well as in a direction parallel to the optical axis of the lens to effect an electrophotographic processing of the photosensitive surface while mainintaing the film plane vertical.
