  • Patent number: 5755082
Abstract: Equipment which automatically manufactures cushioning material by filling air inside polyvinyl alcohol laminated paper and sealing the filled material into individual bags. The manufacturing equipment 1 is provided with a material roll 20 on which a sheet material of polyvinyl alcohol laminated paper is wound. The sheet material 10 is rolled out by a feeding roller 40 from the material roll 20, and the sheet material 10 in a known length, adjusted by a length adjusting device 50 having a roller 42 which goes up and down, is supplied intermittently to a bag forming device 100 located downstream thereof. The bag forming device 100 is provided with a pipe member 105 and a sailor 110, which is a guide plate to reverse the sheet material 10 and form it into a tubular shape, and the sheet material 10 is fed along the pipe member 105 after being formed into a tubular shape. Feed rollers 130 and auxiliary belt 120 are arranged at the periphery of the pipe member 105.

  • Patent number: 4273602
Abstract: A heat-sensitive recording material is disclosed which comprises a support sheet of 5-40.mu. in thickness having thereon a heat-sensitive transfer layer containing a phenolic material, a colorless or pale-colored chromogenic material which forms a color with said phenolic material upon application of heat and a heat fusible material having a melting point of 40.degree.-150.degree. C. and an image receiving sheet superposed on the surface of said layer which are made into one integral sheet by pressing. Using this recording material, sufficiently high density of record can be obtained even by low heat energy, and the background (non-record portion) forms substantially no color to result in high contrast of record.

  • Patent number: 3944144
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for dispersing a suspension of solid particles into the colloidal state, which comprises charging grinding media and said dispersion into a vessel so that the volume ratio of the grinding media and the suspension is within a range of from 2/1 to 1/2 and agitating the suspension and the grinding media by rotating one agitation rod mounted on the tip end of an agitation shaft at the lower part of the central portion of the vessel so that the peripheral velocity of the tip of the agitation rod is within a range of from 6 to 20 m/sec. The invention also is directed to an apparatus for practicing this method.

  • Patent number: 3936309
Abstract: A heat-sensitive recording composition comprising a normally colorless or pale-colored chromogenic substance, a phenolic substance capable of developing the color of said chromogenic substance at an elevated temperature, and a water-soluble binder is not water resistant, but when incorporated with a compound having 2 to 10 1,2-epoxy ring structures ##EQU1## in one molecule as a hardner for said binder, the composition is rendered highly water resistant. Further, a coating liquid containing the said composition is prevented from coloration, and a recording sheet prepared by coating the said coating liquid on a support is prevented from coloration in texture.
