Publication number: 20050087332Abstract: An air-conditioning system for a truck comprises an air-conditioning unit mounted on a vehicle roof, which has an evaporator and other components for constituting a refrigerating cycle to control temperature of air and to supply the conditioned air into a passenger compartment through multiple blower ducts. The vehicle roof is provided with multiple roof openings, through which the air-conditioning unit and the multiple blower ducts are connected. Each of the blower ducts has an air inlet opening at its upstream side and blower openings at its downstream side, and at least two of the air inlet openings are arranged to close to each other so that a bifurcated connecting element connects the two blower ducts to the unit case through one roof opening. Further, multiple blower openings for different operational modes, such as a face blower opening and a nap-taking blower opening, are formed in a common blower duct, to reduce the number of blower ducts and thereby the number of the roof openings.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2004Publication date: April 28, 2005Inventors: Tadashi Umeo, Yukio Ueno, Shigenori Hirao

Patent number: 6622787Abstract: A defroster/face cool air passage for introducing cooled air from an evaporator to a defroster opening portion and a face opening portion by bypassing a heater core, and a foot cool air passage for introducing cooled air from the evaporator to a foot opening portion by bypassing a heater core, are formed independently from each other. The foot cool air passage is located at sides of the heater core in a vehicle right-and-left direction. The cooled air from the foot cool air passage is mixed with warmed air having passed through the heater core at an inlet of the foot opening portion. Accordingly, pressure loss at a foot mode in an air conditioning unit with a central installation layout is reduced, and a mounting performance on a central portion of a vehicle instrument panel is improved.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 1999Date of Patent: September 23, 2003Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Takashi Toyoshima, Kazushi Shikata, Yukio Ueno, Nobuyuki Doi

Publication number: 20030014862Abstract: Method of mounting an electric component on a component-mounting surface such that the electric component held by a suction nozzle under a negative pressure is forced onto the component-mounting surface, with termination of application of the negative pressure to the suction nozzle, and the suction nozzle is then moved away from the component-mounting surface, the method comprising the steps of: initiating application of a positive pressure to a passage communicating with the suction nozzle, before the electric component is forced onto the component-mounting surface; maintaining the application of the positive pressure to the passage, until the suction nozzle is spaced apart from the electric component by at least 0.4 mm; and then exposing the passage to the atmosphere. Also disclosed is an electric-component mounting system arranged to practice the method.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2002Publication date: January 23, 2003Applicant: FUJI MACHINE MFG. Patent number: 4151472Abstract: In a selective calling circuit including a band-pass filter which may be constituted by an active filter, and a power source for energizing the filter, a control signal is generated which has a predetermined duration in accordance with the output of the band-pass filter at a point of time whereat the output of the band-pass filter reaches a predetermined level. In response to the control signal, there is established a state in which the center frequency of the band-pass filter can be changed, and the output of the power source is changed from a first level to a second level for a period of time substantially corresponding to the predetermined duration of the control signal. At the aforementioned first level, the band-pass filter may be energized, while at the second level, it may be deenergized.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 1977Date of Patent: April 24, 1979Assignee: Kokusai Electric Company, Ltd.Inventors: Eiji Watanabe, Junichi Onozawa, Jouji Tanaka, Takazo Takahashi, Tsuneo Kitamura, Hiroshi Yamada, Hiroshi Noguchi, Yukio Ueno
