  • Publication number: 20060056834
Abstract: When a film door is opened, and concurrently when an instant film pack is unloaded from a pack compartment, a spring member causes a counter lever to rotate so that an extremity of the counter lever is disengaged from teeth of a gear, and hence is reset. Furthermore, when the film door is closed, a first slope section of a first rib guides a second slope section of a second rib. Moreover, when an instant film pack is loaded, a third rib is pressed by the instant film pack. In any case, the extremity of the counter lever is engaged with teeth of the gear. Thus, a counter is set ready to perform counting operations in response to a subsequent sequence with which instant film sheets are transferred.

  • Patent number: 6778333
Abstract: In a zoom lens device of the present invention, an aperture at a predetermined zooming step that is other than a telephoto end and a wide-angle end is smaller than apertures at the other zooming steps, and the predetermined zooming step is used only when a macro shooting mode is chosen. In the present invention, the predetermined zooming step between the telephoto end and the wide-angle end is set only for the macro shooting mode, and the aperture in the macro shooting mode is small enough to make the field depth large. Therefore, the simple and inexpensive lens device can perform the macro shooting.

  • Publication number: 20020021895
Abstract: A camera has a movable lens barrel that is stowed in a camera body while the camera is inactive, and is protruded from the camera body to a near range focusing position or a far range focusing position by rotating a drive ring in one direction. The movable barrel returns to the stowed position by rotating the drive ring further in the same direction, because of a cam mechanism interconnecting the drive ring with the movable barrel. To rotate the drive ring, a rotational power of a motor in a first direction is transmitted to the drive ring through a clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism is switched over according to the rotational direction of the motor and transmits a rotational power of the motor in a second direction to another mechanism. A controller controls driving the motor in response to signals entered through manually operated members, including a power switch, a shutter button and a zone selector, with reference to detection signals from a barrel position detector.

  • Patent number: 6064835
Abstract: A field frame for use with a finder which provides arbitrary or stepwise switches of an aspect ratio of the finder. The field frame is made up of a standard field frame, a first L-shaped field switch frame having a dowel pin and two elongated holes, and a second L-shaped field switch frame having a dowel pin and two elongated holes. These two L-shaped field switch frames are piled up one on top of the other in such a manner that dowel pins standing on the main body of the standard field frame fit into the laminated elongated holes of the L-shaped field switch frames. A driving wheel having engaging cutouts is also laminated on the L-shaped field switch frames so that the engaging cutouts can engage with the dowel pins of the field switch frames. The driving wheel is also provided with a lever.

  • Patent number: 6006040
Abstract: A shatter device includes an exposure opening. Shutter blades slide in an opening direction to a maximum open position to open the exposure opening so as to provide an exposure. Then the shutter blades slide in a closing direction to close the exposure opening. An opening diameter is determined in accordance with the maximum open position, and is controlled smaller according to highness of subject brightness. A solenoid slides the shatter blades in the opening direction. A position detecting photo interrupter detects a reach of the shutter blades to a reference position while the solenoid slides the shutter blades in the opening direction. A controller obtains a timer time in accordance with the subject brightness, and starts measuring elapsed time in response to a signal from the photo interrupter. The solenoid is turned off when the measured elapsed time comes up to the timer time while the shutter-blades are slid further in the opening direction.

  • Patent number: 5909328
Abstract: A film pressure plate is provided with a magnetic head which records magnetic information in a magnetic recording section at lower edge of photographic film. A saddle-shaped pad is arranged at the front of a rail plate in such a manner as to face the magnetic head. There is provided a leaf spring for pushing the pad from an opening formed in the rail plate in a direction for the pad to advance onto a film feed path such that a longitudinal direction of the leaf spring corresponds to the film feed direction. A fixed end of the leaf spring is fixed at the upstream of a direction in which the film is fed when the magnetic data are recorded. Thereby, the pad can stably contact with the face of the film while the film is being fed, and the magnetic recording section on the film can come into contact with the magnetic head in a stable manner.

  • Patent number: 5600385
Abstract: A camera is capable of writing data into, and reading data from, a magnetic recording layer formed on photo film. An exposure chamber has a pair of inner rails along horizontal sides of an exposure aperture. Outside the inner rails, a pair of outer rails are formed. Rear faces of the inner rails receive the photo film. Rear faces of the outer rails contact the film support plate. In the film support plate, the magnetic head is mounted. The film support plate is fixed on the exposure frame, and defines a film tunnel between it and the exposure frame. The film support plate has four pins, which regulate each position of longitudinal edges of the film while moved through the film tunnel. The film is guided by the four pins on the film support plate, and is kept to have a position relative to the magnetic head, so as there to be no track deviation or azimuth deviation.
