  • Patent number: 4275690
Abstract: An ignition distributor is disclosed which comprises an input terminal, output terminals, a rotor adapted to rotate with rotation of an engine and provided at its one end with a magnet, a first electrode facing the rotor and coupled to the input terminal, a piezo-conductive plate placed on the surface of the first electrode opposite to the rotor, second electrodes formed of magnetic material and connected to the output terminals, respectively, and the second electrodes circumferentially arranged on the piezo-conductive plate. When the rotor rotates to bring the magnet below one of the second electrodes, the one second electrode is attracted to exert a pressure on the piezo-conductive plate so as to render it conductive thereby establishing an electrical connection between the input terminal and the output terminal connected to the one second electrode.

  • Patent number: 4274695
Abstract: A device for electrically connecting a spark plug to a high-voltage cable supplying a high voltage to the spark plug from an ignition coil, comprising a connecting member whose maximum length in the axial direction of the spark plug is selected to be not longer than 25 mm so as to reduce the antenna effect in the area including the connecting member thereby minimizing undesirable radiation of noise which provides radio interference against other electronic units.

  • Patent number: 4274843
Abstract: An electrostatic type car air purifier comprising a high voltage generating portion, in which a number of tandemly connected resistors of high resistance value are inserted in an output circuit of the generating portion so as to suppress irradiation of electromagnetic noise and to thereby prevent electromagnetic interference in a mounted car radio or other car electric equipment.

  • Patent number: 4245550
Abstract: An electronic air cleaner having therein an electrostatic precipitator and an ultraviolet sterilizing lamp is positioned close to an antenna of a radio receiver. A shielding cover lined with a thin metal film covers the lamp to block radiation of the electric noise waves generated by the lamp.

  • Patent number: 4227446
Abstract: An electronic air cleaner having therein an electrostatic precipitator, an ultraviolet lamp, a deodorizing filter and at least one lead wire which extends along the deodorizing filter from an electric power source to a socket of the ultraviolet lamp. A channel-shaped holder receives in the channel thereof a lower section of a frame of the deodorizing filter so as to form in the channel an enclosed space through which the lead wire passes. At least the wall portions bounding the enclosed space are constructed of electrically conductive material and are grounded so that any noise wave emitted from the lead wire positioned within the enclosed space is prevented from leaking out by the shielding function of the conductive wall portions.

  • Patent number: 3953773
Abstract: A first train of pulses is generated at a first variable rate indicating the vehicle speed and a second train of pulses is generated at a second variable rate lower than the first rate indicating the wheel speed. A counter is provided having an input terminal receptive of the first train of pulses to count the same, a clear terminal receptive of the second train of pulses to clear the count and an output terminal at which a brake release signal is produced when the count reaches a predetermined number before it is cleared by one of the second train of pulses.

  • Patent number: 3948570
Abstract: Trains of electrical pulses are produced at variable rates proportional to the vehicle and wheel speeds respectively and fed into a first and a second pulse counter, each producing its output upon counting of a predetermined number which is determined such that an optimum slip rate occurs when the outputs of these counters are produced at the same time. The output of these counters are utilized to operate and release an actuator which controls the flow of hydraulic pressure applied upon depression of a brake pedal to the wheels of a vehicle.
