  • Patent number: 7462214
Abstract: A vehicular air-conditioner with a pollen mode setting intake to an inside air mode, vents to a face mode, and a blower air flow to a limit maximum air flow M1 between a minimum air flow Lo and a maximum air flow Hi (Lo<M1<M2<Hi), with an air-conditioning unit provided with a filter for trapping pollen and blowing clean air from which pollen has been removed from the vents to the vehicle compartment, whereby by starting the pollen mode simultaneously with the start of the engine, clean air is immediately blown to the vicinity of the face of the driver from the face vents and thereby the pollen entering the vehicle or pollen carried into the vehicle in the vicinity of the face is blown away, the air flow at this time being a maximum air flow M1 able to be withstood in terms of temperature sensation, so a pollen free comfortable environment being created without causing discomfort.

  • Publication number: 20060222672
Abstract: A gaseous constituent supply device supplies an air cannon projectile containing a predetermined gaseous constituent to an occupant in a compartment of a vehicle. This supply device includes a gaseous constituent supply chamber for reserving the gaseous constituent, an air compression unit for compressing an inside of the gaseous constituent supply chamber to generate an air cannon projectile including the gaseous constituent and to emit the air cannon projectile to an individual occupant, and a control unit that estimates an airflow state in the compartment and controls operation of the air compression means based on the estimated airflow state.

  • Patent number: 7080523
Abstract: In an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, a distance between the vehicle and a forward vehicle is detected. When the distance is equal to or less than a predetermined distance, a pollutant threshold of a concentration of exhaust gas pollutants is changed from a first level to a second level that is lower than the first level. Then, it is determined whether the concentration of exhaust gas pollutants is equal to or less than the second level. When the concentration is greater than the second level, an inside air mode is selected. When it is determined that the distance is greater than the predetermined distance, it is determined whether the concentration is equal to or greater than the first level of the pollutant threshold. When the concentration is greater than the first level, the inside air mode is selected.

  • Patent number: 5792229
Abstract: A filter corrugated in wave shape along a first axis has an end filter material piece positioning at an end of the first axis and adjacent filter material piece positioning adjoining to said end filter material piece. The end filter material piece and said adjacent end filter material piece are adhered to each other by an adhesive. In another embodiment, a filter element has a cushion material disposed between the end filter material piece and the adjacent end filter material piece. A filter material has convex and concave crease portions alternately disposed along a first axis thereof and extending along a second axis thereof. The convex and concave crease portions define alternating convex and concave spaces therein. An elastic material fills at least a portion of at least one of said concave and convex spaces.

  • Patent number: 5429180
Abstract: A perfume generating device for preventing a reduction in the level of a consciousness by a supply of relaxing-type aromatic agent, and for preventing a reduction in concentration. Different containers for relaxing-type and refreshing-type aromatic agents and valves for selecting one of the agents are provided on a perfume supply conduit. Upon the selection of the relaxing-type aromatic agent, a repetition of cycles are executed such that, after each three cycles of a relaxing-type aromatic agent, a single supply of refreshing-type aromatic agent or stoppage of the supply of the relaxing-type aromatic agent is performed.
