  • Publication number: 20050187484
Abstract: A blood pressure measurement device includes a fixed main body unit and a removable display unit. The main body unit includes a cuff mounted on a region for measurement of a living body, a control unit including a CPU for measuring a blood pressure with adjusting a pressure of the cuff, and a main body operation unit operated by a subject to externally provide instructions for a measurement operation of the control unit. The display unit includes a display memory storing data of the measurement with the control unit, a display portion displaying measurement data in the display memory, and a display operation unit operated by a subject to externally provide instructions for a display operation of the display portion. A measurement result stored in the display memory of the removable display unit can be displayed on the display portion by operating the display operation unit when the display unit is removed from the main body unit.

  • Publication number: 20050182332
Abstract: A device for securing a living body by pressing includes a living body pressing air bag, a curled elastic member of an approximately cylindrical shape, disposed on the outside of the living body pressing air bag and changeable in size in a radial direction, and a curled elastic member pressing air bag, disposed on the outside of the curled elastic member and inflated to press an outer peripheral surface of the curled elastic member inward to reduce a diameter of the curled elastic member, to thereby press the living body pressing air bag against the living body via the curled elastic member. This can provide a living body pressing and securing device provided with a novel automatic cuff winding mechanism that can simplify and downsize the winding mechanism, hardly causes skin tension on the body surface, and ensures uniform winding strength over the entire surface of the pressed site.

  • Publication number: 20020147404
Abstract: To provide an electronic blood pressure monitor with increased measurement accuracy at the time of measurement of blood pressure at the wrist. A cuff has a pressure-increase structure for making a pressure to an ulna side of the wrist higher than a pressure to a radius side. The pressure-increase structure is achieved by providing an extrusion having a width narrower than a width of the cuff on the side facing the ulna portion. The extrusion is projected from the surface of the cuff. When the cuff is mounted on the wrist, the extrusion presses the ulnar portion with a pressure higher than an internal pressure of the cuff.

  • Patent number: 5764536
Abstract: In a device used to inspect substrates visually, an imaging region and a magnification are specified ahead of time for every component and stored as library data in a memory. The memory also contains CAD data, which include the class of each component on the substrate and its location. During initialization, a control unit links the location data for a component extracted from the CAD data to corresponding library data and specifies a field of view and a magnification for every component on the substrate. Using this data, the control unit creates on the substrate a number of viewing zones to be inspected at various magnifications and stores the data specifying these zones in the memory. When a substrate is to be inspected, the control unit uses the data specifying these zones to control the position and magnification of an imaging unit to collect image data from each zone successively and display them on a monitor.
