  • Patent number: 8714823
Abstract: A sliding bearing 5 is composed of a pair of halved bearings 11, 12 and is provided with crush reliefs 11E, 12E in positions adjoining abutment surfaces 11B, 12B of these halved bearings. Chamfered portions 11D, 12D are formed in inward edge portions of the above-described abutment surfaces 11B, 12B, and a dust pocket 15 is formed on the middle side of the chamfered portions 11D, 12D. The relative angle ? formed by the above-described crush reliefs 11E, 12E with sliding surfaces 13 in positions adjoining the crush reliefs 11E, 12E is set at 0.69° or more.

  • Patent number: 8651742
Abstract: A sliding bearing 1 is formed cylindrically of a pair of half bearings 11 and 12. A dust pocket 4 formed of a recess part is formed in the inner peripheral edges of joining surfaces 11A and 12A of the half bearings 11 and 12, and foreign-substance discharge grooves 5 and 5? are formed in a sliding surface 3 continuing from the dust pocket 4.

  • Patent number: 8616774
Abstract: A sliding bearing 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape by placing abutting surfaces 11A and 12A of a pair of half-bearings 11 and 12 so as to abut against each other. Two foreign substance discharging grooves 5 and 5? inclined with respect to an axial direction of the sliding bearing 1 are formed on a sliding surface 3 adjacent to an inner circumferential edge 4 of the abutting surfaces 11A and 12A. When a lubricant is supplied to the sliding surface 3, a foreign substance 6 mixed in the lubricant is trapped by foreign substance discharging grooves 5 and 5? and then discharged out of the sliding bearing 1 from ends 5A and 5B (5A? and 5B?) open to end faces 7 and 8.

It is thereby possible to provide the sliding bearing 1 with good foreign substance discharge characteristics.

When lubricant oil is supplied to the dust pocket 4, foreign substances 6 mixed in the lubricant oil are caught by the dust pocket 4 and then, discharged efficiently to the outside of the sliding bearing 1 through the foreign-substance discharge grooves 5 and 5?. The sliding bearing 1 having favorable foreign-substance discharging performances can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20120128286
Abstract: A sliding bearing 4 is formed in the shape of a cylinder by joining joining surfaces 11A and 12A of a pair of half bearings 11 and 12 together. A through hole 7 is formed in the position of the joining surfaces 11A and 12A in such a manner that the through hole 7 coincides with the trajectory of movement of a lubrication hole 3A in a crankpin 3. A foreign particle discharge groove 8 is formed in an outer circumferential surface of the sliding bearing 4 along the axial direction leading from the through hole 7. When the crankpin 3 is rotated, a lubricant is directly supplied into the through hole 7 as well through the lubrication hole 3A. Foreign particles 15 contained in the lubricant pass through the through hole 7 and are then discharged to the outside the sliding bearing 4 through the foreign particle discharge groove 8. Thus, a sliding bearing 4 that can smoothly discharge foreign particles can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20110012419
Abstract: To provide a wheel balance weight in which a release coated paper is likely to be detached when assembling it with a wheel. A wheel balance weight according to the present invention is such that, in a wheel balance weight including: a substantially-strip-shaped weight; an adhesive-tape portion whose tape front surface is fixed to a weight rear surface; and a release coated paper covering a tape rear surface, it makes the release coated paper likely to be pinched by adjusting the widths of the adhesive-tape portion and release coated paper. Since the wheel balance weight according to the present invention is such that the release coated paper is less likely to be detached before the assembly operation and the release coated paper is likely to be pinched upon assemblage, the handling becomes easy and additionally the workability when assembling the wheel balance weight with a wheel has improved.

Foreign substances 14 in a lubricating oil are discharged from openings of side portions of the crush reliefs 11E, 12E to the outside and are prevented from easily entering the sliding surfaces 13. A sliding bearing excellent in seizure resistance compared to that of conventional art can be provided.

  • Patent number: 4640147
Abstract: A gear assembly comprising two gears and a spring in the form of a C-shaped clip interconnecting the two gears. Two pins are provided on one of the two gears and the spring has two holes, one in each end thereof, whereby the spring can be carried by one gear in a pretressed state by means of the pin-and-hole connection. The other gear has a groove to cover the spring, thus the assembly work can be accomplished simply by resting the second gear to the first gear. An end wall of the groove engages with an end of the spring to create a spring force necessary to provide non-backlash mating with a third gear.
